Quick update on NOC 2174

CIC received my application on 6th May.
Credit card charged around end of May. On 4th September i got an email to do the medical and to submit the police certificates.

I am new to the forum and need one clarification on the work experience cap.

my question - if i have over all experience more than 10 years then can I use the relevant experience for NOC (2281) even if it is beyond then the last 10 years. or it should only be with in the last 10 years no matter how much exp you have.

2008 - to date - Project Manager IT
2005 - 2008 - Sr. Systme and network Admin
2002 - 2005 - technical support engineer

My application reached CIC - (for FSW appl) on 15-May-2014 or 16th May-2014.
My DD charged on 22-August-2014 as per their email
and got PER on 4-Sept-2014 by Allah's grace.
NOC 2281

No need for over 10 years of experience. It's not going to help you in any way. Do as CIC's guidelines, which is mention experience only until the past 10 years.

My understanding is that for the NOC you apply, you should be able to prove minimum of 1 year experience in the last 10 year.

Hello everyone, just a quick clarification on work experience. do we get points for work experience in the listed 50 eligible nocs or is it only for qualifying with 1 year work experience under one of thoe NOCs

I've worked as an intern/trainee for 1 year and then was promoted to be a supervisor so can i get points for the trainee period which would make 4 years. can we get points for jobs other than those listed in the 50 categories

What do you do if the current company refuses to issue experience letters with roles and responsibilities. I am not sure whether I will be able to get my application in before cap is reached and don't want to jeopardize my current job.

Bro, If this is the case then better get the employment letter on company notepad (official) in the format which the company gives and then get the JDs on plain paper and get it signed from ur manager or supervisor. Attach his business card, if possible a copy of his ID. Also, send copies of pay stubs, offer letter, promotions, IT returns and such docs. and above all pray for good... ...Force the HR to at lease include the full time word or hours of work per week in the official format of employment letter. Add a cover letter explaining the denial from the company. Attach any e-mail communication with the HR which Justifies your claim....Hope this helps..
