On the first form, u put ur husband's name-applicant- then ur name, then his parents, following ur kids and ur husband's siblings, if any. On the other form, ur name -as applicant, then ur husband's as a spouse, then ur parents, following ur kids, and then ur siblings.
Thanks for your fast response ,

One silly questions more - Should all the forms be typed in CAPITAL or Small Letters . Hope it can be done in both ways pls suggest

The question means whether you apply for permanent residence for them or not. If you write yes, you have to pay the fee and they will issue them Visa, if you say no, they will not give them visa and you dont have to pay fees.
So if they are planning to come to Canada with you but after couple of months then you should write yes and pay fees.
Excellent ... precisely what I was looking for ... +1 for you

I'm sorry, but i don't really understand ur question... If u put in your form that ur spuse and/or kids are accompanying u for this fsw program, then they will take money for all of u, of course...if u say that they wont, u will be paying only for urself, a principal applicant. If they she/he accompany u later on, after u land and get ur permanent residence, the hassle will be much less for them, since u've mentioned them in your initial application... I'm not sure if i helped at all, but as i said, i dont really understand ur concern...
+1 for you ... thanks

Sorry if I was not clear in my question.

Accompany to Canada is kind of misleading on this form as what it tells me is that I still pay for the spouse/dependants but then I am informing CIC that all of us may not land at the same time.

IT is now clear from your explanation that If I say "NO" to this question...then I will only be sponsoring myself alone and not any of the dependants which is not really my intent.

So I will go ahead and select "YES" but I am hoping I will be provided some time before I bring my family (wife and kid) to Canada.
If u are planning to get them to u any time soon after u go to CA, u MUST say yes. However, talk to someone from previous fsw programs to make sure if there are some time limitations. As fas as i know, once u get visas, you need to land within one year. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. My point is, if u wanna prepare everything before u bring them along, make sure their visas don't expire!!! I'm sure you'll settle within first three monts anyway. Good luck!

Either way is fine. I believe that first capital, rest small letters is more "polite" since we're talking about federal forms. But then again, that's just me :)

The Principal applicant always has to land first. But your wife and children can come at a later date as long as they come before the visa issued expires. (Which is normally one year from your Medical Date)

Thanks again ... I was researching this topic on other forums and I found the below discussion.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nonaccompanying-dependents-and-copr-senior-members-help-please-t151434.0.html

This question is very important for those who would want to sponsor their spouse/dependants. Hope this helps others!!

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if people are going ahead to submit police certificates? I was a student in the US for a couple of years but the current waiting time for a certificate from the FBI is about 16-18 weeks.

I don't think I could wait that long considering that the window for the FSW program application submission (before the cap is reached) is too short. Is this certificate really necessary?

Also the certificate is valid only for a year while the processing time of the application could be as long as 2 years! Submitting a police certificate now means we might have to go through the same process again?! It doesn't make sense.

You dont have to submit it now. You can wait until it is requested from you.

No you don't have to wait for FBI clearance Certificate if you don't have it. Just include a cover letter stating that you will submit it later when its available.

Just do it. Dont think about processing time. They wont request another one, and decision on most the application will be made within 1 year.

Sadly, many things in this whole process don't make sense. However, u have to look at it from the bright side and hope that there won't be any obstacles in your process. Along those lines, everyone is encouraged to submit their pccs with an initiall application. In your case, you should request yours from the us, but send an application without it, since i wouldn't advise much delay. After you get your per, and ur file gets transferred to your LO, u can send them missing pcc.
