Yes DHL transfers to third party.
FedEx and UPS are better options in this case.

I am curious, if someone had multiple entry visitor visa to canada, could he pick his visa office as ottawa instead of delhi.
I see that ottawa seems much quicker.

Bro NDVO is pretty quick as well... I think you should play safe and pick NDVO...... once your PER has been received, then you are through as long as there are no reasons for rejections later on .... even if NDVO takes a few more days you will be fine as you've made it under the cap.... So stay cool and play safe .... Cheers ... !

If you have anything important which you need to highlight then you can provide a cover letter else its not required.

Dear, You can get reference letter from your clients, to whom you provide service. If you have too many clients then you can take reference letter from 2 or three major clients and if you have few clients then you can get it from one or two clients too.

My package returned due to
1- Incorrect fees
2- Work Experience : Reference letters not provided.
My issue is - I am a self employed . How can I provide evidence of my duty performance as self attested affidavits are nor acceptable , and who can certify them ? Which 3rd Party ? I am a private practitioner performing all the duties mentioned in my NOC . But I hv no reference letter.
Any one has a format for 3rd party Reference Letter ? U can PM me the format .

New guys like myself are also aiding in solutions to quite a few queries on the forum takia bit of the load off you guys .... Actually the place where I work, these sites are banned(look like govt sites) and smartphones are not allowed otherwise my posts would be a lot more regular .... So I do check and reply to a few before going to work and after coming back from work ...

Seniors,

I see most of them are quoting the received date, is this date based on the delivery confirmation from courier or is there any other source that CIC confirms that they received our applications?

I see that to check ECAS i need to have a identification type, how and when i will get this number (i am a new applicant).

Received date is based on delivery confirmation from courier. CIC does not send any confirmation on that. One of the Identification types is UCI (
Unique Client Identifier) which you will get once application processing starts after they charge payment.

Take a total of 5-8 working days for your package to be delivered from the time you dispatched it ... Dont worry too much about the nitty gritties of how do couriers work... ! Best of luck for your application processing !!!

Go check out your city court .... you can use the help of a Notary guy to run you through the process. .. HE may charge you a little higher for helping you but you will for sure get the job done well and quickly ....

If you have not send the forms then change them & put surname as per new passport. In generic form there is question for any previous name used mentioned there old name..

Morning guys,

I recently got a fresh passport with spouses name included in it. But I didnt change my surname to his. Will that be a problem ?
Please advice? In the marriage certificate, my name is mentioned twice with both the surnames ( After and before marriage).

I have filled all the forms with my own surname and not with my husbands.

Please suggest any supporting documents or procedure to make sure this doesnt create a problem.

Please change the y-axis scale to 0 - 1000 as maximum applications accepted will be 1000 per each NOC... or you could keep it as 1200 for a slight buffer. Keeping it at 0-6000 doesn't let the line chart to properly develop for people to see .....

If you are in Canada with either single or multiple entry visa AND you have legal status in Canada, you can select CPC-Ottawa as your VO. But if you are out of Canada, you can not select CPC-Ottawa though you have visa on passport.

I think it is quite possible for us all to see an update from CIC today with respect to applications received towards each CAP .... Hoping for the number to have slowed down so that more of us forum guys stand a better change ..... !! I guess they should update us in another 6 -10 hours if i go by the previous update time ...
