@Harka.. this is a real case.. He applied in 2171 category and his designation was Account Manager.. although his job roles and responsibilities were matched as per 2171..

This is not true because different orgs. have different designations for same job duties...e.g a network engineer may be a IT network associate in some org and may be a network consultant in other and may have a different name in any other org...so the duties are more important than the job title...

Congrats man !! You're the only guy who's mentioned of sending application in July and in progress in August ... Otherwise everyone is talking about Early may applications as of now. Give me hope as I applied on 10th July myself and my job code is filling up fast !!

Hello guys,

For all those applying under the Super Hot NOCs, I want to share with you my theory on the CAPS.

Firstly, it says on their site that the number is an estimated figure of complete applications, not processed. Here's what I THINK happens:

It even shows the steps they take once they receive our applications. They first check for completeness.

So the CAP has nothing to do with PER.

I believe as of August 8 the number of complete applications is what you see on their site. A different group check for completeness in terms of the checklist you submitted and then pass it onto another group that reviews your eligibility.

I would say not to panic. But I am not one to speak cuz I'm freaking out day and night...haha

I really hope your theory is correct!

Currently I'm working in Iraq (Kurdistan region) and probably I'm switching my job to Bangladesh on October. However I have applied for FSW 2014 and application received date is 09 Jul'2014.

My query is regarding police clearence certificate.

If I collect my police clerence certificate from Erbil, Iraq (my current location) by end of September'2014 can I submit it when SGVO will ask for Police clearence certificate (probably after 2 years). As after September I will not be in Iraq anymore. I need to mention that Iraq Embassy does not work for police clerance certitificate for Kurdistan region (Erbil). Can anyone suggest/advise me what to do now. Also about changing my job whom should I notify. As till October CIC will not charge for my application.

By the way, While I submit my application I submit without PCC.

I am not quite sure what I put in there...but from memory i can recall i put in both the code and the NOC name...I don't think it should be a problem

My friend has applied for FSW 2014 and is awaiting his turn. After applying for immigration he changed his daughter's name legally who is also accompanying. Could you please tell me whether his application will be rejected at local VO due to this. Any precautionary steps to be taken?

When the local VO contacts him he should provide full details.

So my thought is designation should match as per NOC..

you mean I should put Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologist and Technician which is the title for NOC 2241

Hi,

I have a question to ask. I got my consultant to fill up my application including the IME0008 form for me and at the last moment I decided to file the application myself. The consultant got all pages printed for the application after having saved and validated the file. As I decided to file in the application myself , I made changes to PAGE 2 for Spouse IELTS and Correspondence Address ( Changed from consultant address to My home address) and took print out of just the second Page without validating the application again and attached it to the printed copy of the form which the consultant took out for me.

In precise words I replaced the 2nd page of the application form and attached the new printed copy

I want to understand, if this would impact my application in any way??
What purpose does the bar code hold? Is there some information which the CIC scans from the bar code to update my details in their system?

If you didn't re-validate and re-print out the bar codes, the bar codes still contain the information that was on the form when your consultant printed them out. In other words, the information you changed and re-printed, is not going to be scanned into the system. The old information you changed was scanned into the system instead.

Why in the world would you do this.

If you can cross 67 points easily without this job and you also don't want to take hassle of arranging reference letter etc., then this is easy buddy; don't mention is on Schedule 3 form but mention is on Schedule A. Your schedule A will match with your earlier application.

Go to NOC website and check there are certain more designations available for your NOC.. check if your designation is listed in it ..
