Hi, as I cannot log on google doc from my country, can anyone help me update my status? My Forum Profile Name is "angelxue", and I received my PER email from CIC on Aug. 15th. Btw, since I use DD as payment, I don't know when it was encashed.

What occupation name I have to put in the 12b section of Economic classes form where we have to list our experience.

Is it the NOC Occupation name or my current or past occupation name?

It should be your occupation.. if you can find the job title under your noc then that is better =)

Hi All,

I'm currently working as clinical dietitian in one of the hospitals here in middle east but my job title is clinical dietetic technician and the job descriptions they have for me is the duties and responsibilities of dietetic technician who assists the dietitian for assessing the patients but that's not what I really do. In short, the job i'm doing is not the one in my job description. Can I apply under NOC 3132 (dietitians and nutritionist) eventhough my NOC code should be NOC 3219 dietetic technician? Or is it okay to put NOC 3219 dietetic technician? Am I qualified under that occupation?

3219 isn't eligible for FSW. Look at 3132 and see if your duties match at least 50%, preferably more. If so, and if you can get a letter to this effect from at least one of your employers, you will be eligible. Also check to see if you make the pass mark.

I am now filling the forms . I have few doubts. Pls help me in clearing the below doubts for "Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]"

1. Have you received your Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ)? -- They have told to give CSQ if I select 'Yes' and the date when I applied for CSQ if select 'NO'. First of all I dont know what this is , How to fill this field - If in your life time you applied for Quebec immigration and received some positive response then put Yes or else No.. If slected as No nothingto wirte.. everything which is in grey color will be uneditable..
2. Personal details que 2 –Have you ever used Nickname –- do we need to mention the nickname , that we use in to call in our home? But the nickname is not official. Pls advice Write Not applicable
3. I dont have UCI, so should we leave it blank or mark as ‘NA' Leave as blank..
4. For current country of residence –- I am citizen of India. Living here since my birth.do we need to mention the from & to dates? No
5. Previous countries of residence –- I haven't stayed in anyother country. so should we give NA or leave it blank? Write Not applicable
6. Have you been previously been married –- Not previously married. So should we give NA if we select ‘No'? Write Not applicable
7. All correspondence will go to this address unless you indicate your email address –- What does this mean?

10. CURRENT OCCUPATION ? My current designation is network consulting engineer. Should I mention this or should I mention the designation as per the NOC code - Put it as per your offer letter..

12. Under dependent's section –- what to fill under ‘dependant type'. Well it depends upon your dependents.. In case not then write not applicable..

So my thought is designation should match as per NOC..

I am only curious in known cases for the 2014 intake.

Yes we have a case for one of our forumite.. He was asked to submit POF again after Medicals by CPC-Ottawa..

This is not true because different orgs. have different designations for same job duties...e.g a network engineer may be a IT network associate in some org and may be a network consultant in other and may have a different name in any other org...so the duties are more important than the job title...
