One more thing, my HR provided me a reference letter with duties and responsibilities from the job posting ive had applied before.

My concern if in case cic will call the HR for verification about technical work, am worried if the HR can answer the queries.

Is this something i should be concerned of

Most HRs have no idea about the technical aspects of the work done. I'd assume they'd forward any queries about the technical work to someone capable answering them such as your supervisor / manager. So, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Hi

My DD was date 1st May, 2014, with 6 months validity..i.e. expiry 31/10/14
Documents reached CIC on 10th June, 2014

As per Instruction Guide, the DD shall be valid at least for 5 months into future, when it is received at CIC. So I am short by 10 days validity in this. Will this affect my payment issue?

Pl. guide guide me seniors.

That's a tricky one!! SS does suggest 24/10 as estimated charge date which is pretty close by the expiry date, but hopefully things will get faster as application post 14/05 dropped substantially and your DD may be charged somewhere in Sep- max Oct itself!! Good luck!!

Here's another solution to your worry that HR may not be able to answer technical questions about your job:

Why don't you attach the business card of your manager/ supervisor to your job reference letter and put a small note identifying the person on the business card as your manger/ supervisor and requesting all technical queries about the job that you performed be forwarded to him/her?
