for police clearance certificate in India...

do i need to get it from my regional passport office ?

Can local police also provide the same certificate ?

Is there any prescribed format ?

I have changed many cities in the last 10yrs do i need to get PCC from each place wherever i lived ?

I hv been living in my current address for the last 3 yrs. Is that sufficient ?

On a another note, looking at your timelines it looks like its the same team at CIC which takes care of CEC, FSW, FSW(with job offer), FSW(PhD category) and other applications.
I was under the impression that based on your application type, its worked by different team at CIC... but that dsnt looks to be true.

Anybody any thoughts??

Hi, ALL. I have a query regarding filing second application.

I have already sent my file on June 30, 2014 under NOC 1114.

Now, i also have a option to send another file for NOC 4011. Can I do that? I mean i would make a payment through CC and if my first application gets cleared, can I make a stop payment for my CC and let the second application get rejected due to cic not able to charge the fees. Is it a viable game can I play? or will it affect my first application as well where I may have got positive reply from CIC.

Pls help.

Seniors:

My wife's education was in british system, as in a levels/ o levels, and she took 5 years to complete her bachelors of 4 years because of her dual major. so I have two questions:

1. how many years will be in her elementary and secondary?
2. how many years in university (the actual 5 years or the generalized 4 years)? or the one in her ECA report (3 years bachelor degree)?

I will appreciate if someone can answer these questions..
