I have noticed something in the Quebec skilled worker FAQ which is as follows:

Question: Do I need to send colour copies or black and white copies of the documents?
Answer: We require only the B/W copies of the documents.

Does this mean if I send color copies of all documents which are not original they will reject my application? That sounds unfair since I have already made color copies. :

You are seeing correct. They don't change the total!!!

Weird!! I still see 555 in http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp and in http://www.canadavisa.com/total-number-of-federal-skilled-worker-applications-received-by-cic.html

Just done some math over new updated cap info and number of per received by the fellow Spreadsheet users, looks like its 1:4. ???

I calculated only the top IT NOCs. So looks like the SS does represents like 25% of the global pers. :-[

Did you ask If the Demand Draft Issued by Indian Bank have valid for ONLY 3 Months ? Please clarify plikhi .

Bcoz My DD was issued on 5/5/2014. I had crossed more than 3 months .( 97 days) and My application reached 13 May. So How CIC will process my application.

Don't worry mate i have checked with hdfc forex office Mumbai and DD are valid for 6 month and mine was also encashed after 3 month on 08-08-14 and issued on 06-05-14...so dont worry just chilllexxx and wait for your turn....

Excellent observation, mate! Yes, the footnote has, too, been updated. It used to read May 04, 2013 all this time. And my heart started racing when I noticed NOC 1112 and 2174 had both received nearly 200 applications by the 4th!
