What is the role of signature on fee payment for credit card users
Do they also verify the signature with bank before processing of payment??

Yes - CC charges need Signature verification by the bank in case of dispute

CIO charged CC / DD on 25 June for app sent on 7 May, now they're charging apps received on 13th! In nearly a month and half, all they've moved is only one week, super slow crawling by CIO.

5th May to about 16th May or so there was a huge flood of applications.

Ok so just in case of disputes is signature verification done..
I was worried as my credit card is very old nd over time some minute changes have occurred in my signature

You can update your address on ECAS by yourself.

It says:
Outside Canada

If you submitted an immigration application, you must contact the Canadian visa office serving your region to change your address.

How can we change on ECAS ?

Hello everyone.
I am a 8th may 2132 applicant, i had sent a mail on 23rd june requesting to know the status of mail, below is the mail:
(I had initially attached normal passport size photos and after realizing my error i had resent proper visa photos.
Following is the reply i received today:
Good Afternoon:

New Photos were received and attached to your file.

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 3 July 2014. It was deemed incomplete. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

We do not keep detailed records of each application returned so I am unable to provide more case specific details.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service. Applications are not sent via courier.

I am preparing another application right now & don't want the same mistakes to occur this time.
The problem area according to me in the first application were:
1. Birth certificate without my name (It had required copies, translation & affidavit)
2. Reference letter with only 20-30% matching with NOC description.

Which of the above points would have caused my application to be deemed incomplete.

To address the above points, i have done:
1. Same birth certificate set with 10th marksheet which has all required info
2. New experience letter with 60-70% matching but on a plain a4 sheet signed by my supervisor.

Need your help urgently as i am almost ready to send my 2nd application.

I'd say #1 is the cause of incompleteness. #2 would cause rejection, but not incompleteness.

You are fixing your application in the correct manner. But I have to ask, why was your reference letter only 20% matching with the NOC, and your new reference letter will be 60-70% matching with the NOC? Is your new letter going to be honest and accurate?

The form mentions 'Cardholder's signature', so that card transaction could be authorized.
