What is the email address for CIC? I am May 23rd applicant waiting for CC to get charged. I want them to consider my H1B visa extension document which i will get this week most likely. I wrote an explanation letter in the original package. Can i send the document now?

Unless there is an important reason you need this to be considered prior to file transfer to your local VO, just sit on it for now and provide it to the local VO after they've contacted you.

Sorry to hear about your case.

I'd say #1 is the cause of incompleteness. #2 would cause rejection, but not incompleteness.

You are fixing your application in the correct manner. But I have to ask, why was your reference letter only 20% matching with the NOC, and your new reference letter will be 60-70% matching with the NOC? Is your new letter going to be honest and accurate?

I am attaching 10th marksheet & affidavit in addition to BC & its translation to sort out the point 1.

My previous experience letter had duties mentioned on them very explained very generically with rarely any keyword matching. They had not mentioned my secondary duties related to maintainance, preparation of docs, training & supervision of engineers.
With the 2nd experience letter, i have tried to inculcate maximum keywords from NOC description while also making sure i am only mentioning those duties which i actually do. My oragnization refused to sign that letter so had to get it on plain a4 sheet & signed by supervisor.

Kindly confirm if Fixed Deposit will be accepted by my local VO (specifically AVO) when POF is requested after my documents have been transferred from CIC?

Yes fixed deposit is well accepted by cic but it should not be in lock period...i mean to say it can be cashed anytime on the request of the owner..

Dear Guys,

I have some concerns about the identity documents that will be submitted for me and spouse

1. My spouse's initials are not mentioned in her birth certificate, whereas her initials are mentioned in the National id (voters id) and our marriage certificate. Name is the same in all 3 documents. Will this be OK?
2. I don't have a birth certificate. Can I submit a notarized affidavit instead?
3. The spelling of my father's name, Wife's father's name and wife's mother's name are different in some of the above said documents. Will this be an issue?
In fact, my late dad's name is spelled differently in two parts of my marriage certificate :-[

Be careful about the generic form . It needs to be validated and therefore use of computer is necessary .

It is possible to send a hand-written generic form without validation. But it annoys them and takes longer to process.

7-th May applicant, according to PER mail DD charged on 25.6, from my bank the charging was on 30.6. **PER** mail on 7.8.14


Last month we moved to another address. How can we update our new street address?

An applicant whose fee was cashed on July 2nd? And one from June 25th? When all others were from June 12-20. Seems CIC is starting to jump around a bit.

Well some applications are easier to review then others and I would say that is the case. I am sure several are under review in parallel some just finish earlier
