Hi all, I'm 7 May applicant still waiting for the PER, no luck for today again.

While I have few questions here :
1. How long does it take from getting PER till the issue of the VISA usually?
2. If I got the luck to get the VISA, how long (e.g. 1 year ?) do I have before I have to land ?

hi friends
my file was received on 12th june.
my account was axis bank. axis bank has tie up with JP Morgan Chase Bank Canada.
as per RBI rule, DD and checks are valid only for 3 months issued by any indian bank!!
now the Question is CIO is taking about 4 months to charge ur CC or DD....but at that time My DD will be in-valid!!

what do u say....kindly reply...

Somebody asked you yesterday, i think jpn about the expiry date on DD. did you check your DD copy or not. He & Century has answered you question also.

Can you tell us now whether, there is an expiry date mentioned on your DD or not.

so you did not get masters degree evaluated earlier, and sent the application without that? and later you got your masters degree evaluated, is that what you mean?

why did you choose to take the above route - to hurry your application to cic, is that the reason? don't think a petition will help at all as it doesn't seem cic's stand is incorrect in that case (if the above is true).

did you, in the cover letter of your application maybe, specify to cic that you want to be evaluated basis your bachelors degree only (and ignore the masters degree for the purpose of evaluation / points claimed)?

I got a negative evaluation . They rejected citing missing masters degree evidence from WES. I did not have the masters degree evidence from WES at the time of application. Do you know if I can petition ? I do have the masters degree evidence from WES now. They also stated that they would not refund my fees.

1) you are looking at 8-12 waiting time in total. But keep in mind that all applications are adjudicated on individual basis, since processing times may vary from case to case.
2) the expiry date of the counterfoil stamped in your PP will correspond with one year time from the date of your medical examination.

I can see in the spreadsheet that your file has been transferred to your Visa Office.
How did you know the date of transfer? Did you get an email (AOR) from VO or you got a 2nd line in ECAS showing that? What I know is that 2nd line in ECAS appears only when PROCESSING in STARTED.

Why dint you submit the Wes report with master's evidence when applying itself? How can you expect them to process your application without any evidence of your masters...? Dont you know that it accounts for incomplete application? There's no point in petitioning for refund of the money as they dont after evaluating your application. (consider it as its their fee to evaluate) before NER your fee will be refunded not after...
I suggest you apply fresh after getting your 2nd IELTS report - apply for it asap and please make sure that this time atleast youinclude allllll the documents asked for.. DONOT send incomplete application. Get the IELTS duplicate fast!
