If I am liquidating my jewellery and converting it to Cash to show in my bank account, Do I need to give any proofs how I got that amount in Cash in my Bank? (i.e. show any evidence that I had that amount of jewellery?)

Is missing to write Date issued on reference letter a critical issue?

I believe the letter was obtained from an employer, past or present. Was the letter dated at all?

That's the question actually.....what if its not dated at all when issued?....and yes it was obtained from past employer...

If it clearly states the period of past employment, you shall be fine in my opinion.

Ok...I just recalled ..not sure though ...that the date of issue of reference letter should not be more than six months at the time of applying...could you or anyone please confirm that?

I have queries pertaining to schedule 3 economic classes:

1. Question 7: Language.
Is your accompanying spouse proficient in English or French

(In my case, my spouse is non accompanying. If I write Yes to the above question, it asks for IELTS test result which she has not given. So should I write No to the above question)

2. Question 11: Settlement funds
Indicate the total amount of funds in Canadian Dollars.

(In my case, my account is in PKR, and its not a forieng account. I have use exchange rate and write the amount in Canadian dollars. Is it neccessary to have acount in canadian dollars)

3. Question 12: Work Experience
The column of main duties is very limited. Is it possible I write 'attached on a separate sheet' for main duties, and put a separate sheet and write main duties.

Thanks

I don't think that is true. That would mean a person has to get fresh letters from all the past employers going back 10 years. The older ones issued at the time of relieving the post shall suffice. The period of employment needs to be mentioned though.

1. It asks for the test, but that is not mandatory.

2. Of course not. That would happen, after you land in Canada. :)

3. Just write few of them there. The reference letter is the main thing they will see anyhow, in context of job duties.

Re: DD is valid only for 3 months in all banks of india as per RBI rule

My case is also similar. My file was submitted on 20th May. DD has not been encashed yet and it will expire by this week. Consultants are saying they will ask for fresh DD in case they do not encash it before expiry. I have my doubts. I just hope they do not return my file back and ask me to again get in the queue after getting new DD

1. Write No
2. No need for canadian account. use xe.com as currency converter to indicate the amount in CAD
3. Do no write attach on a separate sheet. Instead write as many duties as you can write in the space provided. If there are still more companies and duties to be written then add a supplementry sheet with all your information on it as mentioned at the top of Schedule 3 form
