It is OK. Also check the following:

Before submitting your application, do the following last moment check: Most Frequent Errors​

• Ensure counting all the pages of form.
• Ensure writing your full name at the last page of generic form.
• Ensure selecting correct visa office from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp
• Ensure writing names in native languages
• Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos
• Ensure including self-addressed labels
• Ensure while filling form IMM5406 by your spouse, s/he is applicant
• Ensure Assets = Your property + settlement fund
• Ensure Settlement fund is owned 100% by you or your spouse or jointly by both
• Ensure providing original ECA, IELTS, and PCC
• Ensure providing photocopy of degree/master certificate
• Ensure birth certificate contains applicant's name, parent's name, and DoB
• Ensure using DD;
• If using CC, ensure diligently fill all the field of Section B of payment form: amount, card holders name, signatures, card numbers, CVV, expiry date, and type of card.
• If using CC, keep it inside a vault.
• One application, only one intended NOC;

Dear Seniors,
I am in-progress of filling the WES FSWP application form online...There is a question which says "Do your documents include a previous name that has been changed? " My husband's name is KANNAPPAN NACHIAPPAN as in the passport; but in all his academic records, it is KANNAPPAN N (initials not expanded)
Please let me know if I have to say yes to the above question and give the new name as KANNAPPAN N? Please help..

I re-send my application on August 1, 2014 after I filled wrong Application fee ( CAD 500 instead of 550..That was stupid of me..)..

Any chance I will make it ? It is NOC 1112. My first application was recieved May 13, 2014 and They returned it Back to me the day before yesterday.

Is there anyway they consider to give a priority because it was a minor mistake ?

it is quite confusing....hw can you receive your file bk so early as cic is still processing 13 may applicants.....moreover they send bk application through snail mail......hw u came to know abt rejection

I think the OP referred to copies of his original application which he kept with himself. I believe he is trying to submit a second application on top of his initial application (now that he is certain that it will be rejected due to incorrect application fee).

he has mentioned ..applied on 13th may....rejection due to less fees...received it bk day b4 yesterday.........nd resend it agn.....

Hence he has got his application back and as such, it is safe to assume that CIC has started to open up envelopes dated 13th may.

that is true but hw can he receive it bk so early.........may be cic processed 13 may applications many days b4.......bcoz cic send bk app. through normal methods...which takes time for file to gt bk

Please ask your employers to mention that the Duties and Responsibilities are attached on a separate sheet and get them to stamp/attest the separate sheet before you go ahead and attach it with your application.

Oh right. I remember a 12th May applicant who received his application back last week.

Its good in a way, as it is CIC is taking an average of 2.5 months to process an application (from its submission date). If it takes 3 more months to return the package on top of that (which I think is the case) then its basically a kiss goodbye to 2014.

That will be considered as a clarification only when the attached document is attested or stamped by your employer.

You cannot attach a Letter on a company letterhead if its not signed and/or stamped as nobody can attest to it.
