hello seniors,

need your help urgently.

My father's first name is in abbreviated form in all my documents except for my passport. I am submitting my 10th passing certificate (CBSE issued) as proof of birth and that also has my father's first name abbreviated. While in my passport father's name is mentioned in full.

Would this impact my application or this is ok. I have made a self affidavit to confirm that this is my father's name in full and in abbreviation and he is the same person. Is this okay?

Same is the case with my wife. For her also we have made self affidavit. Please advise if this is alright.
Un fortunately I cant arrange for affidavit from my wife's father since he is out of town so self affidavit should work or not ?
And for myself self affidavit suffices or affidavit is required from my father.

Hi Guys,

After the PER email, does the CIO ALWAYS send another email to notify the applicant that his/her application has been transferred to a particular Visa Office for further processing? Or do I need to contact the CIO to inquire about where and when they have sent my application?

And, does that Visa office ALWAYS sends an AOR email (Acknowledgement Of Receipt) to the applicant?

I used Fedex - it took 5 days. DHL told me it will take 3 days, after I showed my astonishment and start arguing a lot, they check a lot and report me taking 9 days.

Fedex charged me Tk 2900 (approx), DHL charge was Tk 6000 (apprx).

UPS was 2 kilo away - was too lazy to travel that distance.

It can't just ignore an entire diploma and the many people that put 3 years into getting that diploma. Isn't that WES's job? And plus, let's say WES does not then some other agency on the list will...right?

BTW, which courier did you use? Just saw it is FedEx

It could be 5 points only. It will be hard to get 67 points with educational point 5.

what made you to judge 5 points? I think 5 points for schooling till 10th. But i do have 3 years of education after that.
