Dmitry, where exactly? Not able to recognise any change..

Inside each colored section, the entries are sorted in a different order now :) Previously they were sorted by NOC, and now they're sorted so that newly received PERs, newly encashed fees, new file transfers, etc are at the top of a section. - This way it's easier to see the news and understand what applications CIC is working on now.

Ok, as we've got a very positive feedback for the new spreadsheet sorting order idea, it's implemented now. Enjoy :)

For those who have missed the discussion, in short, all the news for a particular application status are now at the top of each colored section.

Just in case someone still needs the old sorting order, it's available now as a filter view: "Data -> Filter Views -> Sort by Application Status, NOC and Received date and time".

Wow, congratulations, Century! ;D

Shouldn't be the oldest entry at the top and the newest at the bottom and not vice versa? Maybe it is just me, but the other way round would make much more sense as I could see how many are ahead in the queue.

I would like to show PF amount of mine and my wife as POF.What documents do i have to submit? Submit a statement. Explain that you can withdraw the PF when you emigrate (if that is true).
Also can we show LIC as POF.If so what documents are needed for this? Is this some kind of insurance with surrender value? If so just provide a copy of a statement showing the surrender value.
We have a Housing Loan of around 8L ..Should dis be mentioned in Liabilities when declaring POF section? Yes, it must. But the value of the home can also be included as an asset.

Thanks Inadvance

Rajesh

Guys,

Anwer me this whether I send to make New Bank Statement or I can Keep the old one?

It shouldn't be hard to print out a copy of your newest bank statement. Are you going to take the risk that they won't like to see a 3-month old statement?

Congrats Century bro,
So finally administrator got his admission confirmed in FSW 2014.

Hello Everyone...

I got nominated yesterday under PNP.

My question is that I have already applied for FSWP 2014 and my processing fees has been charged.
What do I do now ?
What are my options ?

Thanks in advance.

Keep your application active for now. Once you are further along with PNP they will ask you to withdraw the FSW application. Your FSW application is now your "just in case."

Congrats!

Hi CAJan,
This is a common question, and initially I thought the same, ascending order seemed to make more sense in theory. But when I've actually tried to implement it and to use it, it appeared to be less convenient, because you have to scroll all the way down to the end of a section to find out the news.
And people probably want to see the actual news more often than who's ahead.
Also, the older entries tend to be abandoned - and with the ascending order those abandoned entries are right at the top, as if they have more importance.

Actually, there is a filter view with such ascending sorting order ("Sort by Application Status and last CIC activity in ascending order"), on which you can see what I mean:

(opens properly only when there are less than 50 viewers of the spreadsheet).

I have written on the envelope, Please inform me if there are any changes.

Thanks for the feedback.

Is it really possible to file two applications to CIO ?

Is there any clause anywhere which says we can file 2 apps at the same time ?

You can file 2 under 2 different NOCs or one for each spouse, sure. As long as they are different.

your argument makes perfectly sense to me - the more I think about, the more I agree with your view :)

Hi Everyone

Please Suggest

I am Residing in UAE with my spouse, My spouse visa is expired on 23/7/2014 and is under renewal process, since we have extension of 1 month.

Now the issue is in the general application form the current country of residence is asking for from and to date. Now when i enter 23/07/2014 it shows invalid date, so now what shall i do. Should i write extend date to 23/08/2014 as this is legal extension that we have in UAE or shall i presume date two years hence, from the expired date since the visa will be stamped accordingly.

Please note I am applying through visa office of nationality (india) not UAE.

Let me know

Thank You

Yes. The extension is legal residence so use the later date.
