This should not be the case, CIC has timelines to accept the payment and which is definitely less that 3 months from the date you file the application. Most importantly, you must not have issued DD more than a month before filing your application.

Can anybody please share the process for getting DD extended as I suspect my DD will expire by the time they will open up the file even. I got my DD created from ICICI bank India, and is from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Congrats on the encashment. May I check when your application reached on the 12th of May.. Even I am a May 12th applicant my app reached at 12.10 pm...

My bank is not being very helpful in telling me if my dd is enchshed or not

It is MARKSHEET. Not MarkCertificate (actually i do not have one for 10th Std and 12th Std). May i know what is the diff. between these two?
For Degree, we do have Provisional Certificate and Degree Certificate.

As of May 1, 2014, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will only consider federal skilled worker (FSW) applications from people who have:
•at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience in a single occupation,
•within the last 10 years,
•at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 edition of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC),

and who are: 1.in one of the 50 eligible occupations, and whose application is received under the occupation's sub-cap and overall FSW cap

The line in red wouldn't be required otherwise.

If the description and list of main duties match what you did at your last job(s), you can count this experience for points.
Use this chart to find the number of points based on your number of years of experience.

Experience - Maximum 15 points

1 year 9
2-3 years 11
4-5 years 13
6 or more years 15

I doubt tht she has mentioned my entire experience on generic form along wth job duties but I hv provided my reference letters of all 4 employments. Wl tht help??

Here are the documents i have attached for DOB proof:

i. Secondary School leaving Certificate - Where my 10th class marks printed
ii. Higher Secondary Course Certificate - Where my 12th class marks printed
iii. Marriage Certificate
iv. Passport
v. Voter’s Card issued by Indian Government
vi. Cover letter

My Parents names are NOT PRINTED in my both (i) and (ii) but available in my Marriage Certificate and Passport. ONLY my father's name is printed in Voter's ID.

I am not sure these may be applicable for the applicants whose DOB is on and After 1980(Per some forums and friend's suggestions). Hence, those applicants may need to get affidavits or so which i am not much aware of.
