Please i have a question,

yesterday my file was received , my issue is that my passport expiry date is on march 2015, will it be a problem ?

coz maybe if they are gonna send my accepted visa next year it will be after my passport expires ,

does anyone understood me ?

please let me know

You still have 8 months to go which is a sufficient time for processing in my view! But still check the CIC website and see if there is anything mentioned there in this regard. Here's the link to the guide.

want to get some french exposure...

what test and their respective curricullum should I opt?

1. TEF - Test d'évaluation du français [recognized by the Federal government of Canada as a proof of fluency in immigration procedures]
2. TCF - Test de connaissance du français
3.TFI - Test de français international
4. DELF - Diplôme d'études en langue française, Levels: A1, A2, B1, B2.DALF - Diplôme approfondi de langue française, Levels: C1, C2.
5. TELC - The European Language Certificates

I opted for DELF and cleared A1 and A2 module. It is beginner level course. There are few Alliance Francais branches in India and they are offering DELF course. Please visit the below website for more information.

DELF is valid over the world but if one would like to get point under FSW, they need to appear for Test d'Evaluation de Français (TEF). Please PM me if you need more information regarding to DELF course.

I am in the category of 2281. about to start the process , nothing started yet, i mean, ielts, PC, ECA, etc...
For me it will take at least more than a month to get all the necessary doc ready.

My query is, Its better to try for next year OR still I can try to apply for this year ?

Yes, your application will be returned if you use self attested roles and responsibilities. To avoid this, get the reference letter in the correct format requested by CIC, remember they will be processing your application based on their rules, not what you you are able to get. To avoid a wasted effort, do it the CIC way

Ok. But it is not a self-attested one...I am providing reference letter from my ex-superior (not on letter head), and along with it, i am giving my affidavit for why I cant provide a reference letter...is that fine ..?

Hi, from data on our spreadsheet, CIC is currently working on applications received on May 12th so you have yet a long wait ahead you. You won't get any feedback until the applications received before yours have been treated, cheers
