I have applied for FSW 2014 through consultancy under NOC 1112. My file delivered date was on May 19th and my payment mode is through credit card. I am yet to receive any notification from CIC, Can any one please tell me how will I know if my file has been processed or has been rejected.
Consultant says that if the credit card payment is through then only we will come to know that the file has been taken for processing, Is it true?? Are there any chances that the file is processed and the payment is taken at the later stages?? I have applied as a couple with 72 Points.

Experts please share your thoughts.

In case if they say they delivered it to correct address, ask for the person's name who signed as received and check name of person on spreadsheet and also ask for proof of delivery from FedEx.

Following are some of the reasons why cases were rejected/returned for FSWP 2013 program: (almost all the cases were rejected/returned in the initial phase),

Please make sure you do not commit these mistakes while applying/before applying.

1- User spoke to cic office and got to know his file has been returned, don't know the reason yet
2- Incomplete Application, educational documents not submitted with ECA. IELTS was older than 2 year at the time of submission but applicant claimed expiry was 9th July.
3- Used old Schedule 3 form
4- Self Attested duties rejected by CIC, Reapplied on 6th Sep
5- Insufficient Work Experience Proof

Here, my question is I am planning to submit reference letters from my ex-managers along with my affidavit (which includes roles and responsibilities and to state the reason why they cant give ref letters), which would be signed by me. Will it be a problem as mentioned above in red ?

1. TEF - Test d'évaluation du français [recognized by the Federal government of Canada as a proof of fluency in immigration procedures]
2. TCF - Test de connaissance du français
3.TFI - Test de français international
4. DELF - Diplôme d'études en langue française, Levels: A1, A2, B1, B2.DALF - Diplôme approfondi de langue française, Levels: C1, C2.

If you have obtained your IELTS result and ECA, please submit immediately.

@ Savarana ... i am assuming that till date around 300 seats are filled out of 1000 (as per calculation of 30 seats per 10 days) for NOC - 2281. So gather documents ASAP and send it with in august. All the best.

Hi, your consultant is correct, the earliest means to know if your application was accepted is when your credit card is charged. You will not receive any notification however at the point when your application is received by CIC, it i when your application is accepted that you will receive PER and it may be 4 to 6 weeks later. With the large amount of applicants this year, it may take longer. Charge will be taken before file is processed in detail and in some cases, applications have been returned after charge was taken. CIC will refund such applicants much later. All the best

Recommend you to reissue your passport before January 2015 (3 months before expiry date).....

Mine was expiring on Feb 2015 but i reissued it under tatkal and sent application with new passport.
And i sent copied of both passport, as my IELTS was on Old passport.

i didnt understand you, i have already sent my application , it was received yesterday,

you mean i should issue my new passport 3 months before then send it to canada ?

Dear Thoras.... there is a reason why they ask to mention the exchange date and time in the form at the time you fill the form of your proof of funds... that you have submitted the required funds at the time of your application.. now if the market falls or goes up is not your concern nor the CICs as long as you can explain later at the VO if at all they ask...cheers! dont worry.. all the best!

i have sent my application to 49 Dorchester street, it was received as 47 dorchester street . nybody can help me with this?
i called the courier FEdex they told me we sent it to the correct institution and asked me to contact them, i cannot contact them

but does anybody else had that issue ?

im applying with a consultant, he still didnt reply on me but im worreid a bit that my application was sent to the wrong address.

Can you share the name of the person who signed the package at the receiving end?

If my memory serves me right , there was a similar case reported in this forum few weeks ago.

No Problem, go ahead and start / process for ECA ... lots of seats are available under 2281 , don't worry bro ..
Go to your University and collect transcript and send documents for ECA- WES ...maximum time it will take is One month for WES to evaluate.
So problem is with the University if they issue transcript and other docs ASAP.

Let me tell you my case ... last year i was late in sending my application due to IELTS and my file got returned due to CAP filled. But this year my 80-90% work was done b'coz of the last year packet which i received back. So i just issued some new docs and sent my file this year.

As suggested by others, if you have the IELTS / ECA, you are not late...
as you know, both of the above will take atleast 6 weeks

Ok, My App Reached on 5th June'14 and DD was issued on 8th May'14 (27 Days difference) and so on 8th Nov'14 my DD will get expired and looking at the Trend and the Speed CIC is Processing the Applications i am really losing HOPES

You are not looking at the Trend and the Speed correctly.... At present CIC is charging 12th May applications... And also number of applications are not so huge as 7th May afterwards... You are just 3 weeks far if we exclude the weekends.. and if CIC will take 3 weeks to charge one week applications then also you will be charged latest by October first week... CIC has asked for 6 months validity DD with not one month old DD...So they will make sure that DD'd are encashed within 5 month of its receiving day... Hope this will reduce your loosing hope... ;D

Hello Folks,

! my query is that I was trying to calculate eligibility for Canada Immigration for a friend!

For this process I have also included my friend's Wife's credentials as a dependent. With regards to her wife's education, since she has already completed her masters here in India. I need to understand that do we have to get her education also evaluated from WES for claiming her educational credential points?

Since we are in the initial stage of starting the process, so we may send his wife's education documents as well to WES for evaluation. IF not required, then we may dispatch the friend's document by today itself without any further delay.
