.......Tricky question regarding file submission...........


1. I need to have 2 years of work experience to get 67 points. I will complete my two years as Software Engineer ( NOC 2173) on 12th August 2014. Can i send my application signed as 12th August 2014 on 10th August 2014 (just to save 2-3 days...as NOC is filling very fast and doesnt want to loose any more days) as application will take 3-4 days to reach Canada from India.

2. I will get reference letter from my manager on 4-5 August probably. Till then i would not have completed 2 years. Will that be a problem or i have to get that reference letter after 12th August when i would be completing 2 years with the company ?


Please suggest something. Thanks !

Hi,

I also have 5 years travel history for New Zealand and they asked me to sign consent form 2nd time. I also want to send them ministry of justice's PCC ( although it's not acceptable) so could you please tell me Does ministry of justice send the PCC overseas as currently I'm in India. And when should I expect visa after sending consent form/ ministry of justice's PCC?

but what If i have submitted required 6 bands results with application and then I got better score say, 7 bands, then can I update this better score with CIC before getting PER..

There is no option to send with a lower score brother..Its mandatory to send with required score....

We will be applying under 2174, as it's a hot code, I was trying to figure out latest by when we can apply for it and hope we'll be under the cap.

I think the spreadsheet has got it wrong on this one, ie. "Estimated date by which you should file your application to be in the cap." under the tab 'Apps by NOC / Cap estimates' for 2174 shows 11/24/2014

Any estimates of the date as per current trends. We have sent our docs to WES and will be giving IELTS on 19th. What are our chances?

My application was received on 28th May 2014. I have submitted my citi bank cc for payment.

As per current trend, it make take another 3 months to get our turn for cc swipe. But recently, my cc limit was enhanced and issued a new card without any information to me, and i received a new credit card. The customer care people says that the old card is valid upto 60 days (probably August end) whereas my old card details (at that time it was valid) were sent to CIC. To inform CIC on this , i have not given any reference number yet.

Please advise me how to proceed further.

Anyway the thing is that, right now u can email to below ID with ur name+PP+ DOB and App rcvd date

Consider the above without space

Write "URGENT" on ur email and ask them for the way forward for this issue...

In between of this, u can send new CC info included Fee Payment form....with a cover letter including ur name+PP+ DOB and App rcvd date ...

I guess u r talking abt "Your Travels" form....

On the top of the form it is menitioned " Other Than ur home country or country of residence" .

So u need not to mention this visits bet India and Emirates.....

And for the address change- write those on the Sch A form...Thats it ......

I have a question regarding Spouse immigration to Canada.

I will apply for canada immigrartion next week. But i need some guidance, I might be getting married next year, so in that case if my PER comes before marriage, can my wife gets some benefits or she has to apply as normal applicant or even she dont have to apply.

Can someone clearify please.

I am also getting married soon... I suggest you to add your spouse during the process....when your file transfer to local VO..it may delay your case but it is better than sponsorship...bcz sponsorship will take more time for your spouse to come canada after getting married...

In fact i am bridging visa holder that does not bear any expiry and valid ending date until case is not finalised as i applied for employer sponsorship.. So in this case how can i fill the "To" date in current residence question of Generic form while i won't have any evidence to fulfil that date

FIR - First Investigative Report

Its the report u lodge with police dept in case of loss of any document or being effected by any criminal activity. Police start their investigative procedure based on this report. In most of the countries, it is accepted as "legal proof" of lost documents.

Have you accepted the new card? I think when you don't accept the new card, it gets returned to the sender (CC Company), as well your old card continues to stay functional.
I remember this issue being raised by someone else in the forum and the advise was not to accept the card.

Assuming that your wife don't have BC, in that case simply use affidavit and avoid those documents. Also add a cover letter mentioning why a BC cannot be attained for her.
