No special benefits. 6 or more years bring you 15 points. You don't get more than that anyways.

Seniors,

I have a question on the list of medical documents to include in the package after the medical exam. As per the medical instructions, doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. Also, if the doctor works with emedical they will give us up-front medical notification. Do we also need to include IMM1017 sent by CIC for me, my wife and my son? As per my understand, we need to include following in the package after the medical exam:

1. Doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam
2. For e-medical up-front medical notification
3. Not sure about IMM1017?

Is there any other medical related document to be included?

Hello Seniors,

I have a question regarding Spouse immigration to Canada.

I will apply for canada immigrartion next week. But i need some guidance, I might be getting married next year, so in that case if my PER comes before marriage, can my wife gets some benefits or she has to apply as normal applicant or even she dont have to apply.

Can someone clearify please.

You will be able to sponsor her as your spouse at that time and CIC will tell you what is required. Cheers :)

Hi Pankaj,

You can apply for her later. No issue in that.

Please see this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

Dear friends,

I was going through the spreadsheet and that's how I landed here. First of all, hats off to the person who made it and to the seniors/mods here maintaining it. It's quite an extensive sheet.

We will be applying under 2174, as it's a hot code, I was trying to figure out latest by when we can apply for it and hope we'll be under the cap.

I think the spreadsheet has got it wrong on this one, ie. "Estimated date by which you should file your application to be in the cap." under the tab 'Apps by NOC / Cap estimates' for 2174 shows 11/24/2014

Any estimates of the date as per current trends. We have sent our docs to WES and will be giving IELTS on 19th. What are our chances?

Thanks!!

Hi,

I am planning to apply for PR this year. I have a question about job listings. I should list all the jobs (even related to NOC or not) during the last 10 years in my application (for example, I worked for 4 companies) . I can get letters from two companies, and the number of hours satisfy the points I need. However, it will be difficult to me to get a letter from one or two companies listed. Also I don't consider the points from these two companies. So, is it possible to list all the jobs in the 4 companies, but provide only 2 letters (and I know, the other two companies I will have zero points) ?

Thanks a lot for your help

So if you applied to QSW then you must be knowing French as well, is that correct? Or is that not a must for QSW?

All the big casinos are in Montreal, so an ideal place for my friend, Neel. :P My thoughts go out to him for a moment there! ;D

I am not aware if applying to a PNP affects FSW application or not, but my high level guess is it might not. If applying to PNP would have affected applying to FSW, I am sure I would have read of that here in this forum, someone would have raised a red flag on that by now. LOL even Future talks about it without raising a flag of any sorts, and he is the kind of guy who would raise the flag wherever it requires! haha

Most importantly since you have not received any nomination there, of course you would apply elsewhere, since they can still deny your PNP nomination at a later stage.

I am currently enrolled in french lessons during the weekends. French is a plus but is not mandatory.

I guess the road is somehow clear for my application to FSW 2014. One last thing, if ever I get PER in the FSW and in the middle of the process, the province I applied for granted me nomination, do I have to tell/withdraw my application from the province? Or could I keep the nomination paper on hand and use it as a backup and just keep my FSW application flourish? Or will it affect my FSW application in some way? I have asked around from people who received nomination (Quebec Selection Certificate) and they are saying that it expires in 3 years time. What are your thoughts on this @ future and @ oscar7?

Many thanks future and oscar! You guys are of big help to random strangers in this forum! I hope to bump into you in Canada someday.

Regards from the Philippines ☺

Oscar just gave you the response needed eeven though I'll like to simplify it more.
For q12b,list all your employments within the last ten years regardless of the fact that you are claiming points on them or not including the NOC code if you know it.
Worry less about the experience/reference letters that you are not claiming points for..........make sure the experience or reference letters for the employments you are claiming points for are spot on with all the necessary requirements as documented by the document checklist.
Don't also forget to list all your employments in personal details form -q8 IMM 5669 - schedule A background declaration form.
I'm sure you will be fine.
Cheers.
