Anyone received PER email whose CC/DD charged after 20 June?

Hi Everybody,

I have a few questions about Proof of Funds.

1) Is it mandatory to have all the funds in your bank when you file your application?
2) How many days is the fund supposed to have been in your account? Like is there a history of funds required, or could it be a new deposit?
3) Can a property valuation be shown as proof of funds?

Would be grateful if I can get a clarification to all of my questions. Plus please feel free to add whatever information I may require regarding proof of funds as a whole.

Thanks much and have a great day! :)

Thanks jpn and nskatcv

I have SSC with name and DOB but parents name not listed.
Alternate Option please?
Get an affidavit done by your parents declaring you as their child. Send it along with SSC and explain the reason in cover letter. It will suffice.
Cheers.

Brother,

1) Is it mandatory to have all the funds in your bank when you file your application?---------It recommended not mandatory....But suggestion is to keep consistent POF. As per Consultant David Cohen- Its recommended to have atleast 80% balance through out the application process..

2) How many days is the fund supposed to have been in your account? Like is there a history of funds required, or could it be a new deposit?----Yes new deposit is acceptable.....maturity is not mandatory, it will be better if there is three months maturity, this is will decrease the chances of query for updated statement. But again not mandatory...

3) Can a property valuation be shown as proof of funds?--------Can be shown but liquid unencumbered settlement fund like bank balance / FD is must.....ultimately all of the settlement fund mentioned by CIC have to be shown by liquid balance....

Good luck.....:)

Seniorsss Pls Pls help

I got my degree evaluated from WES which has 4 year canadian equivalency which makes 67 points for me.But the hard copies received has wrong DOB and i came to know it is because of the wrong DOB mentioned in the transcripts sent by my university in sealed envelope to WES.

Now WES is asking me to get the original transcripts again with correct DOB and sent to them in sealed envelope. It will take approx 2 months to get all the procedure done and by that time i am afraid the caps will be filled

I have all my docs ready and was going to file my case under NOC 2133.

Pls help me to know how much impact of DOB in WES report will make in my case as all the docs which i am sending(Birth Certificate,Matric,Passport) has correct DOB.

I have my Birth certificate in english with my father, mother and grandfather's name mentioned in it..

Pls do reply seniorsss as i am on leave and live in chandigarh and work in srinagar and have to book my tickets to travel to maharashtra for my transcripts again.

Hope u guys can understand...

Which of his documents is missing?

It is possible to apply for your own PR only and bring your wife and son later. However you MUST still list them on your application and provide all relevant forms and information. You will have to list your wife and son as unaccompanying and explain why. You will also need to apply separately for them later. It's much easier and more convenient to get them done now.

The Guide states that if you are unable to provide certain documents or information, you should explain why. If you are missing something simple like a birth certificate, that you know you can obtain later, and you are in a hot NOC, I suggest applying now with an explanation as to why that document is missing and promise to provide it later. This will probably be ok, but nobody can say for sure.

Thanks for the reply...+1

My baby(1.5 yr old) is a US citizen and we lost his passport and Indian Visa in India. We have already got his new passport from US Embassy.
But Getting a duplicate visa will take around 2 months or more. On document checklist 8th point says we need to give proof of admission
( such as entry exit stamps and indian visa) as my son is applying from foreign country. We have only FIR as a proof of passport and visa lost.

Please advice...

Thanks

Hi Oscar7,

I think you have missunderstood my question.

I have my son's American passport, which was lost and I got it by re applying it in US Embassy.

But rt now I dont have his Indian visa which was lost with the passport and to get that it will take around 2 months ...
so if I wait that long 2171 might be full and hence then question.

Hi there,

Passport has been lost but do you have a copy of it. If yes, then I would suggest that submit a photocopy right now with an explanation note that you have re applied for the lost passport which will take 2 months time. If you have any relevant documents (such as FIR of the lost passport) or receipt of re applying then submit the copied of those too. I am sure CIC will understand and will not reject your application on this basis.

Regards,
Mohit

Once again Thx jpn for your reply
Where should i get the affadavit attested...
can it be notarized by any advocate lawyer or i heard that it should be done at indian embasy or consulate

There are several such cases on this forum already.

I know but I never read of any success story regarding this.

Hi, What do you mean by pending? Does that mean you have a nomination already there yet you applied for FSW?

No nomination yet. Just an application. Already got AOR.

No i dont have any job offer i applied under regional market demand stream without offer letter in march and i m allowed to land anywhere in nova scotia even in halifax.
I believe pnp processing time is less than that of fsw.
What i was thinking is to apply for pnp and if i get per mail from fsw i will withdraw my fsw application and if cap gets filled before processing of my fsw app it will withdrawn automatically.

we are at the same situation, except i am a 7th may applicant, cc charged and now waiting for PER. I will go for FSW and keep the nomination letter at hand. Just in case bad luck happens to my FSW application, I will go for PNP. anyway, the expiry date is end of this year.

I think you can do as future has suggested. In your cover letter explain that baby's earlier US passport is lost and submit copy of the newly issued passport. I take it that proof of entry / exit is also lost now so just explain that in detail, and how you plan on showing what you might get later (in lieu of that) in about 2 or so months. These explanations will make your case strong, and send the translation of lost passport FIR as well, telling them no one is ready to give the affidavit along with it because of so and so reasons. Cover that part well in your explanation too.

If all the above are taken care of there is no reason to exclude your spouse and child from this application. I suggest including them as well. Hope that helps! Good luck! :)

Thank you Oscar7 for understanding my point and your valuable feedback. I think what you are saying will justify my point to CIC. Lets hope. I will apply with my family now..:)
Again Thank you so much..:)

+1
