Hi All,

I live in India with my wife and son.

One of my son's document is missing which might take around 2 months to get it.

I want to apply under NOC 2171.

Is it okie if I file PR only for myself now and in future I can apply for my son and wife ?

Hi, here is my recommendation..
Wait for your FSW to process at CIO and then take decision. As you said you have received nomination last week, you have almost six months. Prime reason for FSW recommendation is you can live anywhere in Canada, whereas thru NS PNP you can't live in Halifax even. You have to spend your initial time in regional NS.
Secondly, you will come to know about the mistakes in application, if any.
Do you an employer offer ?

No i dont have any job offer i applied under regional market demand stream without offer letter in march and i m allowed to land anywhere in nova scotia even in halifax.
I believe pnp processing time is less than that of fsw.
What i was thinking is to apply for pnp and if i get per mail from fsw i will withdraw my fsw application and if cap gets filled before processing of my fsw app it will withdrawn automatically.

can i include house which is in my father's name, his property or everything has to be in my name
how much funds should i ideally show as far as asset is concerned everything is in my parents name

1: your experience is perfect in detailed. just include salary/annum against each position since you are working.
2: fixed deposit in your bank account will work only.

Hi Avatar, I think you have asked this question in another way earlier and people have already responded to it. The simple answer I recall was no back then (feel free to correct me in case I may be wrong). By now we are very familiar with you ID. You can't blame it on our good memory LOL. If you only apply for yourself now it would make bringing your spouse very difficult and time consuming later so it is not advisable. Don't show this desperation, though it's entirely up to you. You can do this if you want it this bad. Better would be to please apply your son's new Indian passport in tatkal to proceed with everyone together, or else do what others have suggested already. Good luck!

I think you have missunderstood my question.

I have my son's American passport, which was lost and I got it by re applying it in US Embassy.

But rt now I dont have his Indian visa which was lost with the passport and to get that it will take around 2 months ...
so if I wait that long 2171 might be full and hence then question.

FSW will give more opitons of all the provinces except quebec.. NS will be limited to NS alone. With provincial nomination, I heard that PR extension will be tough if you work in other provinces.

Hi,
Though Halifax is one of the most beautiful places in Canada, but I would still go with FSW. First, you will be free to settle anywhere in country and you will have better chances to get jobs in your field. If you go to jobbank site today, you will see that Toronto has 461 jobs in your NOC, whereas Halifax has only 15. However choice is yours, if you want to move quickly to Canada and ready to stay in Nova Scotia for atleast 7 years, you can opt for PNP route.

Seniorsss Pls help

I got my degree evaluated from WES which has 4 year canadian equivalency which makes 67 points for me.But the hard copies received has wrong DOB and i came to know it is because of the wrong DOB mentioned in the transcripts sent by my university in sealed envelope to WES.

Now WES is asking me to get the original transcripts again with correct DOB and sent to them in sealed envelope.It will take approx 2 months to get all the procedure done and by that time i am afraid the caps will be filled

I have all my docs ready and was going to file my case.

Pls help me to know how much impact of DOB in WES report will make in my case as all the docs which i am sending(Birth Certificate,Matric,Passport) has correct DOB.

if you have enough time depending upon your NOC... you must go for new transcripts with corrected wes assessment

You can use your SSC mark sheet, but it must contain
Your name
Your date of birth
Your parents name.

Which of his documents is missing?

It is possible to apply for your own PR only and bring your wife and son later. However you MUST still list them on your application and provide all relevant forms and information. You will have to list your wife and son as unaccompanying and explain why. You will also need to apply separately for them later. It's much easier and more convenient to get them done now.

The Guide states that if you are unable to provide certain documents or information, you should explain why. If you are missing something simple like a birth certificate, that you know you can obtain later, and you are in a hot NOC, I suggest applying now with an explanation as to why that document is missing and promise to provide it later. This will probably be ok, but nobody can say for sure.
