Since we mentioned NER. ..and not being too pessimistic I hope.. ;D
But from everyone's experience...what are the most common reasons for an NER. .. (ie rejection post completeness check and fees collection ) of course I understand that the most obvious reason would be a candidate failing to gain the minimum of 67 points...but what other reasons could there be?

To be more specific. ..say the job duties in the employment reference letter pertaining to your primary NOC are insufficient/not adequately matching the supposed duties of your chosen occupation...would that lead to NER or would that have been rejected outright at the very beginning in the completeness check?

Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated. ..thanks

My covering letter is turning out to be close to 4 pages.
is it ok or should I shorten the details

No problem my covering letter was 4 pages and I also included several annexures.

It can be anything POF related, incorrect forms filled, NOC not matching, any wrong info provided that they are able to get hold off...medicals etc...

How up to date should the reference letters be? I am asking that since all my reference letters are already done and ICAS has not sent me my assessment yet. They will probably only send it in the middle of August.

If I submit my application in the end of August will that be ok or will they ask me to send more up to date reference letters (signed in August for example) ?
