Think like this if the VO did't ask any explanation from your side he simply reject the application and sending a letter stating that your proof of fund is not acceptable...

If your letters show your job duties and are on offical letter head with proper stamping ans signs nothing to worry about

I didn't provide my own response to my main duties. Basically, just attached my official employment verification letters which list out my main duties. So worried about that.

Is it not advisable to place the money one has in his /her account (declared in FSWP application) in fixed deposit account after you have submitted your application instead of allowing the money to remain fallow in the account ? What are the pros and Cons of this?

It doesnt make sense to park in fds and break them.

You can however do it but embassy is not bankers... they are people who like to sit like a judge on the seat and throw the applications in the bin if they don't get a good snack in noon..

The point is... keep the docs organized. If its an FD. and if u decide to liquidate. ensure that the Balances are maintained at all times = POF.

@Harka007 - I thought I was supposed to list out my job's main duties myself and then also attach the employment verification letter from the employer indicating the main duties. But if the work experience letter itself is sufficient then that's a relief.

Has anyone had their application reject due to clerical errors on the application form? When my friend applied for Australia even though he made a few mistakes the Australian authorities reached out to him and asked him to explain the errors he made. Not sure if the Canadian immigration officers have that kind of patience or they simply reject the application. I went through last year's tracker and didn't see anyone rejected for minor errors, most people whose applications were returned were due to missing forms/incomplete information.

But if the work experience letter itself is sufficient then that's a relief. experience letter is good if it has job duties...why would you have two letters explaining the same job duties...but if the verification letter does not have job duties then you will need another one with the job duties signed by HR or your manager.
