Okay, since you have done it then I guess it works. Besides the site also says couples need to sign the form if it is for couples. Although with the 'Applicant Name' field in the form it seemed counter-intuitive that one person at a time needs to fill the form. Strange, but I guess it is what it is! Learned something new, thanks!

Apology for the above confusion. I stand corrected @ atz & namaste! :)

No worries. It seems they changed their application form format this year. Last year, it was clear what needed to be done. Each form had a question about how many copies for individual family member is requested. The updated form has removed that bit. So it can be confusing.

DHL uses a local courier service..chances are that its already delivered but it takes time for the update on the DHL site. Happened with me too..packet was delivered on 16th june but no update on dhl site until 18th June evening. It showed me the same msg as yours.

Thnks for reply..

One more thing...will they update time of receiving and about the person who receives packet from CIC.......

Postal code is not a necessary information. If the form gets successfully validated without it, then no need to write N/A. Same with other (if available information) such as fax number.

cool :)

Congrats Century and Nandha :D

I am celebrating now (read talli) after 4 days of cc charge ;D ; so do not have full senses to quote your charge/status texts ;) ;) ;)

Hi Seniors,

When the cc is charged what does that mean ?

1. Application is accepted and u r within quota
2. All required documents are received.
3. All documents are verified and and as per the requirements.

The reason why I ask is because one of the most important documents is the Reference letter.
When do we know that they have accepted that the duties mentioned in reference letter are as per the required NOC.
In my case I got the letter signed from a senior member in my team, not the supervisor on the company letter head.
So when can I be assured that the reference letter is ok.

Thanks in advance.

Arjun Singh

i have sent my application file through DHL.......I had sent it on 23rd June......Yesterday I got the status :

Departed ONTARIO SERVICE AREA for delivery 12:02

Its almost after 24hrs I again checked, but the staus is same as above....

What's the reason for this delay...
Anyone who can answer ?????????????????

I'had sent by UPS and withing couple of hours after the status 'out for delivery' it showed delivered status...probably it's company dependent and u should contact the DHL CC...

I thought this was the question: "Hi guys, does anyone know if for FBI PCC for family, do we need to include two credit card forms of $18 each - one for me and one for my wife or only single credit card form of $36?"

Is it not? That's what I was answering to.

I sent for my spouse and myself together. Send 36$ in a single payment form.

Dear Shaarav

Nova Scotia is not the standard place where DHL delivers regularly , they send it via third party which is local courier . So after one day it will get updated in DHL system the moment they get proof of delivery . Just wait for a day and check again.

After you have received PER. As this means your NOC checks ok (after cost recovery) and you score minimum 67 points. The process in nutshell : Complete file -> Cost Recovery -> Minimum requirements met (i.e. NOC check -> Eligibility check (i.e. 67 points) -> PER

@Oscar7

If you would, please post the timeline for your FBI summary request. My application reached FBI on Jun 9 and I'm still waiting for it.

UPS beats DHL hands down for delivery in that area. I hear UPS is great for North American continent deliveries. Definitely is far better when sent from Indian subcontinent, as has been shared often.

For CIC specific deliveries by DHL it is also a matter of what time one has sent the package. DHL was delivering in flat 4 days from India in early May, and was promptly showing status on it's site back then. Not so much anymore as I often hear in the forum these days.

My recommendation in the order of preference from India to CIC is as below:
1- UPS
2- FedEx
3- DHL

Use DHL if you don't have a hot NOC
(just my take; excel ss must have more detailed analysis, I haven't checked that)
