Hi,

My IELTS score (General) is as follows

L: 7.5
R: 8
S:7
W: 6.5

Q.1 my calculated score is 22, right?
Q.2 They write if its first official language and second official language, which one to consider if I am from India?

As per my calculation yes you should be in cap...
CIC has published the completed application count and thanks to this forum we can work out that currently CIC is working on 7th May application.

So if in 1 week CIC has received 106 applications for 2174, so roughly in 7 weeks (till 12th June) still cap is not reached.... Also as per the spreadsheet 7th May is heavily loaded day and after that the number of applications has subside.

So for all the people who are still working on package...hurry up....still we have chance to make this year

I have a different point of view. CIC updates CAP very slowly and each year CAPs were reached 6-8 weeks prior to CIC's announcement "CAP reached". Although the cap for 2174 has not reached yet, looking at the current "received" application number 106, I suspect that they "actually" received 1000 applications easily by now. If I was applying for one of IT categories, I would avoid 2174 from here on and apply alternative NOCs as long as my duties match NOC's job descriptions.

Hi,

I have a question, need help and suggestion from all the lovely seniors -

"I have completed B.E (Engineering) and D.C.T (Diploma) I got my transcripts for B.E but the Diploma transcripts is taking time, its already more than 20days and still I am not getting response from them. I have logged a complaint and will be traveling to the University which is in different city.
I have done Diploma a 2 years course and B.E is 3 years for me not 4 years."

So, the question is - Is sending the transcript for B.E (which is the higher degree) should suffice or it is mandatory for me to send both transcripts B.E + Diploma to W.E.S ?

then provide the only highest level education docs.....

No need to send the lower education then.....

Hi Guys, I have a question on the Schedule A form (IMM 5669)

On question number 7 "Give the number of years of school you successfully completed for each of the following levels of education",

For university/college category, I studied for six years, however, my first year of study was under a different course from the degree I actually obtained . Some of the general subjects from my first year was credited and considered when I transferred in my second year under a different course.

My question is, should I indicate 5 years or six years of study.

Dont worry for the IELTS , Since ur file has rcvd by CIC with a valid IELTS report then its ok....

Do you have some idea , how CIC transfer files to VO , i mean to ask in how much time after PER email , CIC will transfer first lot to New delhi VO for further processing ?

I just sent transcript to WES, still long way to go..

I expect to complete all the documents including ielts by the end of July.

I am thinking of NOC 2171 or 2173.

Is it too late?

I should have started earlier..
