i needed input on 2 items:

1. sample format for letter from manager for duties, etc. i will put the actual job duties. need remainder of the format.
2. credit or DD, which to use? which is preferred? does DD leave 0% room for error?

Can u plz analyse the following duties and responsibilities for NOC 1112 and revert back..
1) Preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, business activity reports, financial position forecasts.
2) Conduct audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with laws.
3) Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions such as, banking and insurance, relevant networks, government compliance-officers.
4) Determine the content, frequency and structure of the financial reports with management.
5) Supervise employees performing accounting, payroll, billing and collections.
6) Monitoring the financial news and keeping up to date with market developments.
7) Maintaining regular communication with the management on investment ideas, new investment products and summaries of research.
8) Contribute to inter-company transactions reconciliation.
9) Assessment of financial reporting systems, accounting and make recommendations for changes to procedures, budgets, operating systems, and other financial control functions.

Far and doesn't qualify for 1112. Be careful!

Just curious.

I took my DD from Thomas Cook on 18th June 2014 and application was sent on the same day. I guess it will be delivered today or tomorrow.
The validity of the DD is for 3 months. Will my application be reviewed and DD cashed within 3 months? Could someone who had
prepared the figures and estimates please reply?

Wow! I just noticed on the spreadsheet that for three people their respective VO has even requested medicals. How quick was that! When does a VO request medicals? Is it after the local VO has checked the submitted documents and is satisfied that all materials are in order? Or do they do it as they are checking applicants' documents?

CIO always return the Appln as soon as they complete their (-ve) assessment.

Guys , This time CIC is faster , hope visa offices too will work according to Canada immigration minister orders to compete the applications in 6 months of time period. my fingers crossed

Will I be eligible to apply for FSW-2014 under NOC : 1123 - Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations

Currently I am working as a Dy. Manager- Marketing Services in Pharmaceutical company for the last 4 years & my
job responsibilities are as under :

• Support the marketing team in developing & executing various integrated promotional communications &
campaigns including corporate events to achieve established annual and long term business objectives.
• Coordinate internally among the marketing team and the graphic design team to develop the marketing
deliverables such as visual aid, product - literatures, leaflets, teasers, cards etc.
• Assist in organizing various corporate events such as trade shows, exhibitions, CMEs, doctors' conference
etc. and accordingly coordinate with the travel desk for necessary tour arrangements & with the graphic
design team / vendors to develop promotional objects (i.e. exhibition stalls, display panels, banners,
posters, brochures, product samples etc.) and the same are delivered to be set up on time.
• Coordinate with the distribution department to ensure the availability of all the promotional materials i.e.
print & high value inputs, to the entire sales field force as per the schedule.
• Liaise with travel desk for organizing all travel and stay arrangements for all internal periodic meetings and
training programs for sales field force and head office employees.
• Liaise with purchase department and vendors in order to procure the necessary promotional material as per
the delivery schedule and also to maintain the adequate inventory.

They accept Payments made via Netbanking, Debit cards or Credit Cards.

My bank has authorized the tramsaction and I would be collecting the DD in the evening....Is something wrong in this process?

Thomas cook is absolutely fine. Many have made and encashed.

I paid cash in hand for DD from Thomas cook. So they take cash in hand as well.

Hello Seniors,

I am so worried about my past 3companies, would you please advise me & ease my anxiety.

1. 2012-present no issue I can provide the required work reference + any other supporting documents
2. 2008-2012 no issue as well I can provide the required work reference + any other supporting documents
3. 2007-2008 I can provide both required work reference + other supporting documents
~but problem is the company was liquidated. I can get live status from ACRA as a proof but do I really need to disclose this to CIC with notarized self declaration / affidavit?
4. Oct-Dec 2006 3months-I am under agency deployed in client, I took the job temporary while waiting for oversea opportunity. I went back home to get a detailed work reference letter but unfortunately that company was nowhere to be find as they already shutdown in 2007. I only got a standard work reference letter which only shows my job title & tenure. Do I need to get notarized my self declaration / affidavit for this?
5. 2004-Aug 2006 I managed to get my ex boss to signed the detailed work reference letter in the company letterhead & I indicated my boss hand phone number on it. The issue was the said company was already closed down in 2007/2008, do you think CIC will need to call the company & do the verification even though it's 10years back? Do I need to disclosed to CIC that the company has already closed down? On my affidavit do I need to get my ex boss to sign it?

last year it took 2-3 months. it seems this year CIC is using courier service to return packages??
what u guys say....

Thats pretty quick for 7th May app to return India as 7th May app is still on progress.
When CIC receives an app they put date stamp on top of it. Is it actually stamped dated 7th May??

Do you know the reason for return?? NOC??
