Guys I went to ICICI bank today, to check if international DD's are valid for 6 months. They only told me the validity of international DD is 3 months.
And if the validity is to be increased then they need the original DD back.

I am stuck in a situation now, I am sure CIC wont encash DD prior to 3 months of issue seeing the speed at which they are going. I am yet to submit my application, so please advise

I have been using this affidavit all along, no problems so far. Just saw you guys talking about marriages, so thought shall confirm.

But do they even issue certificates for marriages that are not registered though courts to begin with ?

And who shall be the issuing authority in that case (for India).

1 year software engineer-database = 2172
3 years software engineer = 2173
2012 march to current = 2172

how much points do i get .if i apply for 2172 as primary occupation.?

I sent self attested job duties under NOC 4011 and NOC 0911.......

but my application is just recieved by CIC.....

In eCas Tool my Permanent Residence Application Status is shown as "In Process"
When I click on "In Process" then it shows "We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2014."

I have not yet received PER mail..What is meaning of this status. Kindly help in knowing the meaning of this status....thanks in advance

Please let me know, how did u check in the ecas tool. did u get any receipt number ?

I was able to check eCas because I have applied in 2013 also but I was rejected due to filling of CAP. When I received application back then they mentioned UCI number. Now in 2014 when I submitted application then I mentioned the same UCI number. and checked status in eCas with help of same UCI number

One frustrating news is, Singapore is the slowest Visa office in the world...

None of the FSW13 applicants has received Medical from Singapore....

They have replied that --My file is awaiting for "FINAL REVIEW" upon query of my file status.

Waiting for 13.5 months....

Pray for each other....

you can also try ING vysya....they even dnt ask for account.....just make RTGS in their account and get DD within an hour....

You would still get points for 4 year's of work exp, it's just that experience in your primary occupation needs to be for more than a year to qualify for specific skill quota. 2172 and 2173 categories are filling fast (if not already full) so you must act quickly if you wish to apply.

Not sure its only Singapore....Accra Visa office holds same honour too especially for NIGERIAN APPLICANTS.
None of us FSW2013 stream applicants have heard anything from Accra.
Infact,yours tried by sending AOR,no applicants from Accra will receive AOR....as it is now,ALL OF US ARE ON THE SAME QUEUE.
Patience for us is a necessary virtue that you will learn to practice after PERS notification.

For 2172 .. you'll get (see red)
1 + 2 = 3 yrs points --> 11 pts
Provided you submit all the reference letters etc,

Another, 3 yrs--> If you provide Ref letter for 2173 as well
So Total 3 + 3 = 6yrs --> 15 pts
