Guys I wanna get some clarification:

Work exp current and previous certificates only to submit copy not original not even current one.

Bank balance statement. Is that too copy of balance certificate or should it be original bank balance certificate.

I mean neither current work exp nor Bank deposit certificates are to be sent original.Only the copies.

Please advise I am sending copies of all docs not certified copies. Is that fine this way.

The checklist clearly states 'copies' in these two cases.

See checklist http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf for all others, that might require originals.

Originals may be requested later.

Mothers family name at birth: This should be at whose birth? her birth or applicants birth?

So should it have mothers maiden name or name as on her passport

In eCas Tool my Permanent Residence Application Status is shown as "In Process"
When I click on "In Process" then it shows "We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2014."

I have not yet received PER mail..What is meaning of this status. Kindly help in knowing the meaning of this status....thanks in advance

I was able to check eCas because I have applied in 2013 also but I was rejected due to filling of CAP. When I received application back then they mentioned UCI number. Now in 2014 when I submitted application then I mentioned the same UCI number. and checked status in eCas with help of same UCI number

i need your opinion on this

When an agency verifies your work experience do they actually get detailed job responsibilities or just your designation and/or your department. I've been sitting on my application since I'm not sure if Life insurance qualifies as one of the NOC 1212 job categories although there is one generic title "clerks supervisor – bank or financial institution" i wonder if financial institutions include Life insurance companies, I know in India Life insurance companies are part of the NBFC group.

so here's what im thinking if the agency asks for my job role from my company they probably would say he is an assistant manager working in Operations department of our processing center. Now would they care to ask what exactly does he do in operations ? i hoep they do coz I work in the underwriting vertical and also do some claims servicing.

Please let me know your views

pls tell me onething from which email id they have replied. that will be helpful for us.
I'm also getting tension and so many worries. last year also i didn't get due to cap filled. this time i have sent early and received by 7th may. i have sent DD not CC. according to the spread sheet people whi have sent money through CC got the PER rather than people who have sent through DD. So much worries :'( :'( :'( :'(
