In eCas Tool my Permanent Residence Application Status is shown as "In Process"
When I click on "In Process" then it shows "We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2014."

I have not yet received PER mail..What is meaning of this status. Kindly help in knowing the meaning of this status....thanks in advance

Guys I went to ICICI bank today, to check if international DD's are valid for 6 months. They only told me the validity of international DD is 3 months.
And if the validity is to be increased then they need the original DD back.

I am stuck in a situation now, I am sure CIC wont encash DD prior to 3 months of issue seeing the speed at which they are going. I am yet to submit my application, so please advise

Try HDFC. They were offering me a DD with 6mo validity. Guess you would need an account there.

How long have you already made your DD??

Pop in to Thomas cook store. Hand in the cash and get the DD valid for 6 months. Thats the best and quickest option I could find.

I am sure IcicI international dd is for 6 months. The person u are talking to has no clue of what he is saying.
He is wrong.

ICIcI issues a dd from bank of Montreal, which has 6 months of validity. 100% sure of this my friend.

Century brother, Chiragpatel has confirmed he has used "plain A4 paper with company logo on it" upon my query (on later).....He have not caught our point of indication.....


Ultimately he has used the Company letterhead paper....As per guideline...
