Hi All,

I am unable to get my PCC being here in singapore as Indian High commission and Singapore government need requisition letter from the concerned embassy to process the request. Would that be a problem if I do not submit my PCC with initial application? I am thinking of submitting a cover letter.
That should not be a problem. You will receive a letter from the VO and you can submit it in 45 days.

Hello,

I have a query .

I have submitted my original ECA report for my highest level of education (Masters) + proof of education (Copies of degrees, transcripts of my Masters, Bachelors, Secondary Education)

I am claiming 23 points , as the Masters Degree has been found to be Canadian Masters equivalent.

My question is ,for proof of education as I have given copies of all my educational credentials up to Secondary Education, will it cause a problem?

Thanks

Hello - For those using CC as mode of payment, did you call your bank to just pre-inform future possible charges from CIC? I'm just thinking whether I should call my bank to avoid getting the CIC payment charges blocked.

Appreciate your help!
Yes. please Do it now. CIC will try 2-3 times at max.

1) Tell them about future transaction and approx amount.
2) let them know that transaction will be done by canadian immigration deptt. of canada government
3) Confirm your international limit. it should be greater than required by you and if not, get it increased.
4) Also check about sms on the instant of transactions is activated or not.

All I did was logged in to the online banking and send a message using my Inbox. The bank came back with a confirmation stating that the transaction will be allowed in the future.

Hi seniors,

I am 35 yrs & 6 months old, would cic give me the maximum points of 12 or they will count that as 36 yrs old & will give me 11 points only. Sorry for asking, coz I need that 1 point to reach 67.

Thanks
You will get 12 points. Read the points for age link below from Canadian immigration. According to it, those who're 35 will get 12, whereas those who are 36 will get 11.

It doesn't matter if you are 35 years and 1 day or 35 years and 6 months or 35 years and 11.99 months old. As long as you aren't 36 years old, you'll get 12 points.

Since you are not yet 36 years old, you are good to go. Go ahead and apply - you have required 67 points.

Good luck!
