How do i edit my details in the spreadsheet..

Edit or include your name?....I seems not to see your name on the spreadsheet unless ofcourse you have used a different name other than your forum name.

really worried, my file received on 7 may, but just now came to know that international limit for my credit card is just 10000 while Indian limit is 1.5 lac, is it possible to increase limit by today through HDFC bank

log on to netbanking for your credit card and increase your international card limit. Do it asap it takes 24 hours to update the limit.

Yes it is possible to increase the limit of credit card in a day or two.
There are two options to do so
1. Log on to the HDFC netbanking website, Go to credit card section. On the left hand side there will be an option to modify the international limit. You can set it to the max limit of your card.
2. Call HDFC customer care and ask them to do so.

I would take the 1st option as it is quite easy & less time consuming.

I would suggest follow both

1st do it online, call HDFC bank and ask them if the limit is updated.

....BIRTH CERTIFICATE......
1. My birth certificate is in Punjabi and i have got it translated and also notarised the copy of it as per CIC guidelines. Do i need to send the origional translated birth certificate and the affidavit by the translator or its copy ?
2. My name is not mentioned on the birth certificate but my father's and mothers's name is on that and also my date of birth and place of birth. I am providing an affidavit for the same that is why my name is not there. One more thing, i am also sending my 10th class certificate on which it is written my name , DOB, father's & mother's name. Will that be fine ? As CIC has mentioned about the secondary school certificate . Does 10th class certificate come in that category.

I have read in this forum somebody has mention that 10th certificate will be fine. However, i am sending and affidavit why my name id not there and also 10th class certificate. Do i need to send copy of affidavit or the origional ?

Send a notarized copy of original birth certificate & send original translations & affidavits.

Just note you need to file original WES report and also your degree certificate's photocopy. From your thread, it seems to me, you are planning not to send degree certificate copy (I may be wrong).

Yes for safety sake both methods can be tried.
From the spreadsheet it can be seen that 7th may applicants are being charged & as the applicant's file had reached on 7th, even a day lost could be costly.

WES will surely give your evaluation strictly based on the version of your name on your degree/diploma certificate.
Any discrepancies between this and your the name on your passport can be sorted out with an affidavit to be included in your application package.
The affidavit is supposed to give clarity on the mistakes regarding your name in any of your documents.

Guys! Need your help. I got a reference letter with the following responsibilities -

Designing and developing Java/J2EE based software applications in accordance with requirements,

development standards and best practices.

• Creating Technical and Functional design for Java/J2EE related applications using Microsoft Visio.
• Enhance or modify application code for performance improvement and to support the new feature requests.
• Review code to ensure adherence to the Software best practices and design patterns.
• Unit Testing and Integration Testing. Assisting users during user acceptance Testing(UAT)
• Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures.
• Post implementation support, troubleshooting and Production support.

Can we get certified cheque in CAD currency from Indian banks if i have a saving account..? I will also check with bank but reply if you know.

Yes Absolutely.

In fact I got mine from Andhra Bank Hyderabad.

One thing to note is :

You can have your account in any branch.But go to a FOREX branch from the same bank and they will give you DD.

Take proof of id,proof for the DD request (copy of Fee payment form) and your cheque book and passbook(if you have one)

Not many will give certified cheque. DD is just as good though the collection takes time.

You can consider checking the remark column of Mr vivesehg in the spreadsheet (row 18). He got PER. I added those remark from his thread. The following is the remark

"Used 10th class marksheet for me and my spouse. No affidavit or cover letter. I put sticky note on 10th marksheets stating 'birth date proof for applicant/spouse'. sent PCC from FBI which was 7 months old."

So, CIC accept 10th class marksheet without any affidavit or forwarding letter. But I suggest to add a forwarding letter mentioning all details.
