a) Assets : What do I have to mention here ? My wealth statement figure which include all the deposits, accounts and property e.t.c ? or just the deposits that can be en cashed anytime? [ONLY INCLUDE ASSETS WITH VERIFIABLE VALUE, such as deposits, accounts, mutual funds etc (liquidity is not a concern, verifyability is. You can include value of your property as well if you have (a) value assessment report by an authorized evaluator or (b) you have a loan against the property because the assumption is that bank would have done the evaluation and given you loan of lesser amount. However, in case of loan, just use the value of loan as property value and explain it in your cover letter ) ]
b)Liabilities : I guess its about loan or mortgage ? [yes, no need to show car loan (at least i did not included it) as cars are pretty liquid and cover the value of loan but make sure you have not included car in assets, as well]
c)Settlement funds : What should I mention here ? it says "unencumbered transferable and available funds" which include property too alongside investment e.t.c ? [here liquidity is a concern, include all deposits, mutual funds, bank accounts for which you can provide a proof that you can take them along with you at the time of landing]
NOte, there is NO benefit of showing EXTRA funds, if you meet the minimum requirement for size of your family. Its good enough.
