Guys, Just for your understanding...

# My consultant couriered my passport to NDVO direct on 7th March and got Delivered on 9th March.
# Once the Passport is delivered at NDVO, it takes max 3 days for the passport to reach our file processing officer.
# Once stamped, NDVO gives it to the despatch team and remember, depatch is done once in a week, hence time delay.
# Visa reaches the applicant by registered post.

The above is applicable only for direct/courier delivery of PP at NDVO


When the process is through VFS, its mandatory that the passport reaches NDVO on the same day/next working day. They make arrangements accordingly.

Once the VFS passport reaches NDVO, its again mandatory that the stamped passports are returned with 4 working days to the respective VFS office for self collection.

So, its better you send it through VFS if you have an office nearby.

Is there anyone in this forum who had submitted their passports with VFS, New Delhi in the first week of March and still waiting to get it back.

I submitted on 2nd March with VFS, New Delhi. It's already been 3 weeks now.

Hi Even I had submitted on 2nd March through VFS and received it from the VFS bangalore
Please go to the VFS office or call helpline number and mention your tracking number they will tell you the status. The online status in VFS is little confusing

Yes, the payment receipt also needs to be sent else how will they map the payment to your application. You need to take the printout and fill in the blank fields and send it along with other documents. This line is clearly mentioned in the email 'Attached to this e-mail is a copy of your official receipt for the payment of Citizenship and Immigration fees. Please print this receipt and attach a copy of the receipt to your application. '

Hi All,

Need a Help, 13th Dec'14 had our Initial Medicals doen and Did Remedicals on 13th March'15 as we received Medical Furtherance and 18th March'15 we again received Medical Furtherance and we approched the Panel Physician and then i had to under go CT Scan and Bronchoscopy as they are Suspecting Prositive TB but final results will be on 25th March'15 and Doc told if its Positive then it will 6 months Treatment and so my Question is will CHC wait for 6 months?

In my email, they ask me to submit the proof of completion of medical . I had submitted payment receipt and the copy of form (which I got with MR and submitted to hospital).

Anyone else realize that some people were asked to submit proof of completion for medical, and some were not?

ok then please call the VFS helpline number and mention ur tracking ID and DOB
they would be more than happy to tell you ur Visa status
I guess the VFS center where you applied would have already received the PP.

Hey All,

It's been a while since I have messaged anything here.. DM on 13/03/2015 and Passports sent to NDVO on 17/03/2015.

You guys have been amazing and extremely helpful. We had put Vancouver as our port of landing in our application, but eventually decided to land at Edmonton Intl Airport. We have booked our tickets for May 12, 2015!

Finding a good place to stay is the next task in hand. kijiji.ca is a good place to begin with or you might want to stay at a hotel or motel till you find a good accommodation. As for jobs, I have been informed that indeed.ca, workopolis, etc are good websites. I have noticed they all require a Canadian address and phone number. So keeping that on halt as well till we make our official landing..! God has been extremely faithful to us all thru this journey, and so we are sure He will be there with all of us moving forward..!

I gave my resignation on 16/03/2015 and here notice period is 3 months, but since I can't wait till then, will officially end work by May 8 2015.

Seniors,

I have a question. I have been waiting for the MR request in 10 - 15 days time. I had already sent the PCC along with the application on 4th Sep 2014.

What if the MR email also asks for PCC to be done? Do I need to get a PCC again? As it is a time consuming task and last time even it wasn't completed in 30 days time...

Suggest something guys.. should I stay optimist and apply for PCC this week??

you won't be asked for pcc in case you have submitted earlier with application. However it's the vo prerogative and they may ask for it if they wish so. chances are slim though .

with regard to translation of German PCC....I can give you details of the person in India with whom I got my German PCC translated. Though he was living in the same city I never visited his office...just few conversations over phone and then paid money online and got my PCC translated. PM me I can give his details. With regards to notary I got it independently done after my PCC got translated

I need some information from the seniors or members with similar experience
1. We applied and received German PCC. As this is in German, we are looking for a certified translator + notary public in Canada. We are currently on work permit in canada. We are completely lost as to how this should be done. How do we know the translator is certified? Will the same person notarize the document? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
2. My India PCC was received on Jan 13, 2015 (which was not sent to CIC yet). Should I get an updated PCC, or should this suffice? My husband's PCC dated 02May2014 was submitted along with application, and they have requested for updated PCC.
3. Why are they asking for Travel information? My husband had lots of travels including his studies and work which was given in detail in original application. Should I give the same information again, am I missing something here??

Visit Goethe Institute Max Mueller Bhavan in you city. They will provide you with the list of certified translator. You can contact any one of them depending on your convenience and get it translated. I did the same.
