Hello everyone. All those who have received PER...

Do we need to NOTARIZE photocopies of documents like Birth certificates, educational docs, Passport, Identitiy cards etc.?

Hi All,

I have recently sent my application to WES for the evaluation of my Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) degree , I sent them, university sealed envelope containing 1) copy of degree certifcate 2) Marksheets both duly attestted by registrar.

Yesterday, I got an email from WES Canada, Saying:-

.....

I have already sent them lots of emails and explained everything, but i'm getting only standard replies from their support staff.

Seniors, Please help me on this, I'm really confused for my next steps. Please advice.

BTW i'm from India.

Apart from that sealed university documents, have you included a photocopy of degree? Remember the applicant needs to send photocopy of final degree from his/her side.

How shud i update or edit information in the spreadsheet. Actually by mistake i have enetered Visa office New york instead of New delhi.
Plz guide.

If you have not saved the edit link after submitting the entry, then it would be better to submit it again & ask the admin to remove previous entry. But do not forget to bookmark/save that edit link this time. As soon as you submit the entry, you will see "Edit you response" link on that page. Click that link & then save/bookmark for any future edits/updates to your entry.

Yes, I have included the attested photocopy of my degree along with marksheets. I have clearfully sent my application after reading the 'required documents' check list for INDIA on their official website.

Please tell, what else they require?

For the printing of the forms, what size of paper did you used? Is it A4 or short bond paper(8.5"X11")?

Preferably A4 sized paper.

They never requested attested photocopy of final degree, only the marksheets needs to be attested & sent by university. For final degree you are required to send a photocopy (no attestation needed) from your side.

EDIT: What I'm trying to say is, final degree photocopy should be outside of that university sealed envelope.

On second thought, could you please check "Required documents" page in your account (http://www.wes.org/appstatus/documentation.aspx) & see what is being shown there.

Do you think it is okay to submit original experience letter, where document check list required the photocopy.

It doesnt really matter provided you can get the same experience letter if it is requested again.
The only reason they said copy is just incase they want original later on.
You are fine if you have submitted....if you have not,try to make photocopy.

If you have not translated them from your native language to English,don't waste your hard earned cash to notorize.
Notorization is only requested for documents that have been translated from native language to English.
If your documents are in English by defaults...no need to notorize.

I think my applications should be returned. NOC 1112 has been charged for 06th May. My application reached on 05th May 2014 9:48am.

Not sure if anyone else with the same issue.
