Is there any number outside Canada to contact CIC. I have my UIC number with me and I have aleady obtained PR. I want to call CIC and confirm it it is allowed to courier PR card from Canada to India once I apply for PR card and it comes to my freind's mailing address in Canada and want to know from CIC if it is allowed if my friend can courier it to India

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 1 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

I dont think there is any other number. But Skype is offering free calls to Canada and US till March 1.
So, use it call CIC...

Sure ....

a) Btw I had already written to Delhi Embassy if it is allowed a secure courier of PR card or if there is some process where I can give someone notarized authority letter to carry in person (for example if friend will visit India after 4 months then he can carry for me if it is allowed with some process)....But they will answer in a few weeks
b) I had also written to UPS Canada if they accept PR card for courier from Canada to India and their answer was YES. But I still want to confirm with CIC or Delhi Embassy
c) Also I had written to Canada Security and Border Agency and they had advised me to contact CIC.

When I have have concrete information with proof, I will share on forum

That's really strange. ...Any BGC conducted in ur case do u know? ..U can raise a CSE but in any case VO is supposed to contact you at this point....otherwise can't think of what to do...Seniors pls help with any other suggestions??
