Hello seniors,

My application was couriered from India and I can see on DHL tracking that it was received on 22nd Dec.
I have not heard anything from Canada Immigration though.

Should I be worried?
Is there a way I can check the current status?

Hi, please note children do not pay RPRF.

The RPRF applies to all applicants for permanent residence except the following:

a dependent child of the sponsor or principal applicant;
a child to be adopted by the sponsor;
an orphaned brother, sister, nephew, niece or grandchild of the sponsor;
a protected person or a member of the Protected Temporary Resident Class in Canada;
a member of the Convention Refugee Abroad Class;
a member of the Humanitarian Protected-Persons Abroad Class;
a member of the Permit Holder Class, who has made an application for permanent residence, and who is the dependent child of another member of the Permit Holder Class;
a member of the Permit Holder Class who is the dependent child of a permanent resident or Canadian citizen;
a principal applicant in Canada, who has made an application on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds, and who is the dependent child of a permanent resident or Canadian citizen.

i am 22/09/2014 applicant. payment is by dd. the bank informed us that our dd got encashed on 18/12. still i have not received any PER. is it normal or should i start getting worried.

Finally I received so-called PER today morning. Very strange is: They charged $1100 (for 2 person) on my credit card, but letter states $1000. It is their mistake for sure, but does it make any difference? Can I ignore it? or Report them.

Another question is: They did not quote visa office (other FSW class gets PER with name of visa office). Since I applied on PhD stream, is CPC-Ottawa always a visa office for all applicants?

How to update SS.

I have received my PER on January 7, 2015 for NOC 1123 submitted September 22, 2014.

DD was cashed on December 11, 2014.

Please admin, kindly help me update SS as I can not locate my link to SS.

2nd Line updated: 12th Jan 2015 (We have started processing ur application on 8th Jan)

I have a small doubt. Does second line update mean that verification is done or it will start after 2nd line update?

For NDVO

1. App Received
2. Fee Encashed (CC Charge \ DD Encashment)
3. PER Received - This email will have the file number and PER
4. ECAS - This will get updated once CIO gets the cost recovery and data is entered in GCMS
5. Processing by Local VO - NDVO does not send AOR
6. Medical Request \ PCC \ RPRF - In most cases PCC, RPRF and MR are sent all together
7. Medical Received by VO
8. Passport Request
9.Visa Issued
10. Passport Returned along with COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence)
11.Land

Just a quick question.
I had applied for the program without FBI PCC and I have received the per email on Dec 29th.

I have just sent my fingerprints to FBI. I am assuming it will take 14-16 weeks to receive the PCC.

Will the visa office give me extra time? How long do they give for the applicants in the similar case?

Yes Visa office will give you extension if you inform them about FBI PCC. Most of the VO's are already aware of the timelines for FBI PCC
