What about the question 6D IM5669E, I think the answer is NO
RIGHT!!
write no>>> returned application because of the cap, doesn't mean refused... refused means that you are charged and paid money and after that refused by visa office

Dear Seniors,

I am the main applicant and got 1 passport (citizenship) only; however, my spouse got 2 different countries' passport and citizenship. Will that be OK to apply? Will CIC reject our application because of her status?

Should she declare that she got 2 citizenship and submit 2 passports copies or hide 1 and just submit one?

Also, when we submit our passport copies, do we need to provide those inside page with travel record and stamp from different countries? Thanks for your advice.
no rejection.... but he should mention that at declaration form and send a copy of the passport which he would like to submit it to LVO for issuing the visa of canada

I see what about the UCI number, I know that I may leave it empty with no problem.
As far as I know they are not storing all the details of returned/unprocessed ones so do you think that they can figure out the difference between the 2013/14 different NOCs !

uci number is not important .. they will get it back by your date of birth and passport number ;D
so, if u knoe it write it and be sure it will not affect on your application even you will submit for new noc

Hi I Didnt get you 4th point.. Anybody... Can you explain
What I meant that NOC code that started with "0" is for seniors or who got around at least 3 years job experiences. For example people can start his career with NOC 1111 or NOC1112; however, NOC0111 can apply 1111 or 1112. Then he eventually move into "0" categories like 0111 (Financial Managers). So, anybody who got 1 or 2 years of job experiences might not be suitable for this position.

Re: Question on IELTS score

Hi,

my brother recently got his IELTS results and his score is given as below:

Listening : 7.5
Reading : 6.5
writing : 5.5
speaking : 6.5

Overall : 6.5

now since his score in writing is less than 6.0, would he need to re appear for the IELTS exam or would CIC accept his overall score 6.5? Your valuable advise would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Ziyad.

Individual bands need to be atleast 6 to be eligible for FSW. So, he will have to re-take IELTS.

I'd say it's good that we dint have such system, otherwise on 1st May either quota will be full in 5 mins or their server will be down. Anybody who has used Indian railway reservation website might be able to visualize that... :D
Everybody having enough financial power will block their slot even though they would not be sure if they would actually apply it not.
Yes such a system would be unfair. Getting a slot first and then applying is non sense. In fact the current system is also unfair to some extent, its fcfs and not necessarily best applicants will get PR and tthis is the reason from 2015 they will move to express entry which is fair way to permit immigrants on PR who have right qualification skill and willingness to settle in Canada and being looked by employers and govt. Of Canada.

Hello anyone can help.. Does spouse need to obtain the police cert or just the principal applicant? The checklist only mentioned 8"you" which supposed should mean the principal applicant only?
Yes, right. But the guide 7000 has asked to do so:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp
Police certificates

All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.

Are you sure about this? have you tried the same before?
Because if they can retrieve the UCI anyway, this will trigger their suspicion immediately as it is tied to a previous app with different NOC

Re: My "food for thought" to seniors

mcgyver said:
Here is my food for thought to seniors:

Some people, who have been monitoring the FSW program for several years, optimistically say that the 2014-FSW applicants are likely to have their applications finalized comparatively faster than those who applied in 2013.

Three main reasons why they think so are:

ONE: observation that intermediate stages at CIO in Sydney, NS (i.e. fees encashment, PER, etc) are coming faster than did in 2013
TWO: perception that CIC would like to make a fresh start by clearing all backlogs of applications at all visa offices around the world before launching the Express Entry program in 2015
THREE: observation that almost all visa offices (notably Ottawa and New Delhi) are extra active in order to finalize any pending cases

While the above may hold true for most visa offices, the fact remains that the Singapore visa office in particular does not seem as active. Many are unaware that there is already a queue of 2013-applicants who have not received any medical requests till this day from the Singapore VO. Nothing has happened to them beyond the AOR phase.

While I, being a 2014 applicant, am happy to witness things so far are moving fast for 2014 folks, I simultaneously wonder how the Singapore VO may manage to handle 2014-cases (including mine) in the entirety AFTER finalizing 2013-cases and BEFORE January-2015.

Could it be that at the Singapore VO there is a different group of Case Officers assigned to handle 2014 cases, who are to work in parallel with another team handling 2013 cases? If not, then I only see my case being added to an already large queue of poor folks who applied in 2013 to be processed by the Singapore VO. :(
Same situation at Accra VO... I wonder what they are doing dere or maybe they are short of staffs?????
