I think it might be a conjunction between a rush for reducing the backlog of FSWP before EE and that most applicants might have made bullet proof applications that didn´t need verification....

Perfectly said Krasburn, yes when an applicant makes a perfect application then obviously verification will be waived (most cases) and can get verification on random pickups.

This is what the FSW2014 rush and stats say.

My application was delivered today by DHL but the tracking does not show who signed for it.

I called DHL and they said that courier for nova scotia is handled by their local partner Loomis express and from that they said the person who signed for it was donnie.

Step 1 Complete.

Ask DHL team to get the Waybill number of Loomis Express for you. So that you can check it on http://www.loomisexpress.com/webship/ for receipt...

I am not quite sure about being slower due to EE opening. At CIC there is always a new immigration program that overlaps the previous year program so we always we see some delays. We should take a look to FSW 2013 thread on this forum to realize there are some applicants from last year program still in the queue while a lot of FSW2014 are getting their Visas.....

I guess, the number of applications at the end go down for FSW2013. But for FSW2014, it may not happen. Also for FSW2013, number of applications received was 4361 from May2013 to April 2014. For FSW 2014, I guess much more greater number than 4361 applications will be at their hand for processing on January 2015.

Your last line is worrying. Lot of FSW2014 got visa keeping on process for FSW2013.

It could happen lot of EE may get visa keeping FSW2014 applicants waiting.

Frankly speaking, all are speculation only. Only time can give the answer. CIC may finish the FSW2014 soon to start EE. The evidence is they stop FSW2014 after 31st December although FSW2014 was suppose to continue till April 30th.
