Hi,

I have a confusion on filling Economic classes schedule 3.. 12.a and 12.b..... Actually my experience falls under 1123 - Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations.

I have worked as sales promotion coordinator and i want CIC to consider this as my experience.

Now in 12.B i will put as sales promotion coordinator (which is same professional occupation in marketing). Now in 12 a what i can put? Can i put as sales promotion coordinator and put the NOC code 1123 or just put as professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations.and NOC code 1123. Please advice.

Thanks in advance....
Not exactly sure what you mean here. In 12a you must put the primary NOC under which you are applying. You can put the title as the title of your NOC, your current job title, or even both with a slash or brackets.

CIC will give you points for any experience falling under skill type 0 or skill level A or B even if it is not in your primary NOC. You just need the minimum 1 year of continuous full-time employment in your primary NOc to qualify.

No, it's no reason for delaying or refusing your application. You must provide updated forms and documents as soon as the baby is born (passport, birth certificate, photos), though, so that it gets included in the process. I believe that your required minimum funds will also increase according to the settlement funds table. If your current funds are already above the required for your increased family, no problem. If not, you need to provide proof of funds for the new baby as well.
Thank you for consolation!
I stated settlement funds approx. 26 000 $ (now I have 2 sons), thus I think it will be enough for 5 members in future
I re-applied (due to cap reached for NOC 2131 in 2013, October)
We are from Ukraine and simply can not survive here, so we are waiting with impatience any changes in our life...

What outcomes we can assume in case of any fraud founded by cic ??
At a minimum the application will be rejected. The applicant is also likely to be banned from Canada for 2 years, maybe longer.

1) Can I ask why you listed fewer assets than you actually have on the form?

2) As long as you have one year of continuous full-time experience in your primary NOC you are eligible. You can also earn points for experience in other NOCs provided it was full-time and the NOC is at skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

3) Probably not.
Yes I did that since I may use some amount apart from required by 2 people for my personal use.
So thought if they ask again and it's not 17000 then it may be problem.
Thanks for your response :)

Thanks, but on what are you basing this?
On the manual, it's stated:
"You will be awarded points for your highest completed credential(s)."

If the ECA attests your Masters level, you get 23 points. As far as I know, no university allows you to enter a Masters program without a graduation diploma, so if you got a Masters, it's assumed that you had a BSc or equivalent before.

Thanks for trying to answer my query. Actually I don't get a fixed salary as such every month but I do take regular transfers from my company as a part of compensation. The amount varies but there is always a minimum amount that get transferred. Also, if I were to get a reference letter from a client then what kind of content should it have? As they are dealing with my company and not an individual every time, they can give reference letter for my company mentioning my name in it but not a reference letter dedicated entirely to my role in the company.

Guys please help me out as I don't know where else to go to get my questions answered.
Honestly this is a fine line between self-employed or not self-employed and it's going to be hard for someone who hasn't encountered this situation to give good advice. I think in your case, it would be a good idea to get a reference letter from someone at your company who preferably is not related to you, and in addition obtain a reference letter from a client. You can choose any client with whom you have had significant contact and knows what your duties are. I would also explain the situation thoroughly in a statement in your application. I don't think it's a problem at all but I do think that in unusual circumstances providing a thorough explanation to eliminate confusion is always the way to go.

You may also consider hiring a lawyer to help you figure out the best way to handle it. If you wish, PM me and I will refer you to my immigration lawyer.

Good luck!

Don't think so there will be a single minute delay for your baby forget about refusal. There is no question of checking security for a child. When your file will send to VO, inform them about possible birth date. After delivery, get birth certificate, passport, photos, pay fee, and send those to VO.
This is encouraging

Always happened to me. Only way I found to be able to edit it was using Adobe Acrobat Pro instead of Reader, but its not free. You should fill it all again, I suppose... its free after all but annoying.
I also could not fill in the forms in Reader. I bought a full version of Acrobat.

You can see here that for a 5 member family the minimum funds are CAD$ 24,920, so you're good on that. Best of luck to your family and congrats on your future new child!

Dear friends, I need your help.
I was in Regina, SK during March this year and have found two employers who really wish to hire me (I received two Job Offers and Job Contracts). The one wich I prefer has applied both for Job Approval Letter and LMO simultaneously, in order to help with getting Work Permit and further Immigration via SINP (depends on what will be faster). However, he received very strange refusal letter from SINP:

Re: Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
Job Approval Form
Dear ....,
We regret to inform you that your Job Approval Form under the Saskatchewan
Immigrant Nominee Program for HVAC MECHANIC has been declined due to the
following reason(s):
Employer does not require position.
Thank you for your interest in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.
Sincerely,
Taylor ...
Employer Relations Officer

Could please anyone explain me what does it mean? And may it be the reason to refuse if employer applied for this letter by himself, knowing that he need this position?

Thanks

Thanks future_canadian!

You said you called them up..... do they confirm if they had received your fingerprints and if you application is in process??

Damn I should try calling them.... but how will they identify my application or check if my application is ever received?? Do they provide application sstatus on phone?
Yes they confirmed receipt of my application and said it was in process.

I hope you're not waiting for PCCs to submit your application. You can submit without PCCs and send them later to the local VO.
