1) In my bank statement i showed CAD 16400, however in Schedule 3 - IMM0008 form in question number 11, Assets i declared CAD 14720. Will this create any issues?

2) My main application NOC is 2174 as per previous company.
In Schedule 3 - IMM0008 form, question number 12, Work experience, i have given the following details
12-a) Occupation: Software Developer // NOC: 2174
12-b)
- Current company - Till Date - Software Tester [NOC-2173]
- Previous Company - to and from date - Software Developer [NOC- 2174]

For 2173 50 % of roles match my reference letters
For 2174 90% of roles match my reference letter

So my question is as i am applying under NOC 2174, will they refer only reference letter related to NOC 2174 or also they will consider 2173 reference letter.
Will there be any queries, if so what?

3) In new generic Form, I kept current occupant as of Current company designation and Intended occupation also the same. But the NOC which i am applying is of with previous year designation. Will this be a problem?

1) Can I ask why you listed fewer assets than you actually have on the form?

2) As long as you have one year of continuous full-time experience in your primary NOC you are eligible. You can also earn points for experience in other NOCs provided it was full-time and the NOC is at skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

3) Probably not.

The web site says 25 days but in reality it is a solid 6 weeks. I called them to confirm and they said "I know what our web site says, but it takes 6 weeks."

Damn I should try calling them.... but how will they identify my application or check if my application is ever received?? Do they provide application sstatus on phone?

They shouldn't be considered liabilities. If you don't pay your life insurance premium you may lose your policy but it is not a debt that you owe.

Guys! I'll be getting my MSc assessed by 6th of June and then hopefully should have it delivered by the 10th or sooner since I have opted for the international courier service.

Assuming that they equate this degree at a Canadian Master Level, should I still get my bachelors assessed?

Anybody from last year in this forum who can confirm getting only highest degree would be enough? Any success stories of people from last year managing a PR with only MSc assessed? Hope they will not return my application considering it as incomplete.

Need your advice......

I passed my Bachelors Degree in September 1994. But I got my Degree certificate from the University on
15'March, 1997. So the year of graduation to be entered on the WES form is 1994 or 1997?

That's a long time to wait for a certificate! Did you complete all requirements in 1994? Does the university acknowledge this in your transcrips/mark sheets? I'd say 1994.

On the instruction guide , it is mentioned "The initial description and list of main duties in the NOC job description must match what you did in your job"

My employer has given reference letter with all the main duties , but no separate initial description( Even though the description of my NOC is covered in the duties mentioned)

will it be enough ?

As long as they can find it in the letter you're fine.

If your assessment comes through as equivalent to a Canadian Masters Degree, you don't need to assess your graduation diploma, that will be enough to give you the 23 points.

Are assets and liabilities mandatory , i dont have any assets all on my parents name and liabilities on my spouse name. and i am the principle accountant so can i just write them as zero. would that be fine.

No it wouldn't. Your spouse's liabilities count as liabilities and must be disclosed.

Also I find it hard to believe you have no assets. Cash is an asset. If you have the required settlement funds then you must have at least that much in assets.

For settlement funds I am showing my and my wife's saving account statement and bank certificate.
My question is do we need to get the funds mentioned in Canadian dollars in the bank certificate or local currency is enough ?

Local is fine but be sure to use CAD on the forms.
