I will also like him to succeed but CIC is very clear about hiding information. I was called by the VO to clarify a rejection of a tourist Visa that I did not put in my application because I applied for it after sending my documents to CIO...

Ahhhh!! Thats amazing piece of information. So, CIC indeed have their own sources to verify instead of just relying on what we mentioned. They indeed take these things very seriously. +1 for the valuable info. I have seen numerous cases who come back and say I forgot by mistake (read deliberately tried to hide information) to mention about visa rejection. Hope they are seeing this and will not come back with such requests in the future.

I have sent another app, as insurance. Let us see how things go. Thanks for the good wishes.

Hi,

My Wife's pass will expire at the beginning of 2016, should I renew it before MR from NDVO?

My suggestion for u is to go for your wife's passport renewal now immediately .. you have 1-2 months time to receive your medicals as per the trend ... even though u receive medicals within a month or your wife didnt receive her renewed passport by MR, no worries, as the old passport will still be there with your wife for verification ..

You need the renewed passport only during PPR stage .. so better go for renewal as soon as possible

Correct, it is same for every one. It is basically about the update of version of ECAS, not essentially about the date of updating of record(of candidate) on display
