I am woing to write a letter/email to request the extention of time for that.
Kindly check my draft email and advice please.
Subject – Kindly request extension of time for submission of police clearance. (File Ref UCI: xxxxxxx, Application No : Exxxxx, FSW Program, NOC xxxx )
Dear Sir/ Madam,
With reference to the above mentioned subject and your email for requesting of Sri Lankan police clearance, dated 17 November 2014,
I have been requested via your email (copy attached) dated 17 November 2014 to submit Sri Lankan police clearance of mine and my wife by 17 December 2014. I have applied to our police clearance in advance through embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar on 20 October 2014 (Receipt attached). However, the applications are still under process. (Please refer the website status of our police clearance application).
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant an extension of time for submission of police clearance.
I would like to bring your kind attention that I had already applied for Canadian immigration under FSW program on January 2008 through Canadian high commission of Sri Lanka, and submitted all required documents including police clearances two times on April 2009 and March 2012, completed medical and paid RPRF. However, unfortunately, my application was terminated due to “Growth and Long-term Prosperity Act”, Bill C-38. (File ref no UCI xxxxx) in July 2012. (Please refer attached copy of previously submitted police clearance.)
I kindly request you to consider my extension of time request and beg you to not terminate/ cancel my application due to late submission of Sri Lankan police clearance. Kindly consider the numbers of years (around 7 years) that I have been waiting for Canadian skilled immigration. I will submit our police clearances as soon I received from embassy of Sri Lankan Qatar.
Further, please find attached copy of RPRF receipt which I have already e mailed you on 13 November 2014.
Yours faithfully,
