Mates...Please help... If our credit card got declined then do CIC send a query about that to our mail ID.
Because my old credit card was replaced with new credit card with Chip as per RBI rules, But I have given my old credit card details when i Sent in Nov 16th.
Please guide how to proceed...

If he gets married before receiving Passport Request, he can inform his VO about change in family i.e. addition of wife and they will further inform about the additional documents required for addition of wife in the application.

It can delay the process for sure but delay would be non significant compared to the time frame involved in sponsoring a family member after receiving PR.

All depends on the visa office at that time ;;


This is a very iffy question, some people have done this successfully without issues. This again in the hands of the Visa Office and your assigned visa officer.

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependents after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person”

If a CC is declined then you will now have to wait for your Application to come back or you could submit another one.

CIC will not send you any email to confirm your credit card details. There will try to charge your CC 3 times Max. and if they fail to charge it, they will send the entire package back using snail mail.

I believe, November apps. are undergoing completeness check at present. So I would advice you to send a new payment form briefing the situation along with the new payment details and request them to match it to your initial application.

Also, once your new payment form has been delivered, write a mail to CIC informing them that you have sent new payment form. Mention all the details that may help them to trace your application such as Courier shipment details, who received it, Your name, passport no. etc.

There is no guarantee that they will be able to match the addendum to your application but there is a fair chance that they might.

Please make sure he doesn't miss the submission date in the excitement of getting married as that can get an application rejected.
