Hello everyone and congrats to all of us.

For those us us waiting, God will perfect our joy too. The Almighty God will see us through.

My question is to the seniors or perhaps those who have same experience.

WRT my proof of funds, my husband and i have a piece of land and all we have is the purchase receipt and survey in our name. ( we have not started the C of O)

my question is : can we submit this along with the deed of sublease as proof of ownership on the land to Accra?

Am guessing you are the Awaiting MR stage or so..

at this point AVO is interested in cash that is the Funds in Naira or CAD equivalent to your family size and not documentations.

Your best bet is too quickly sell the property and put the cash in your account.

Ensure that you do the transaction through a property manager/law firm that is duly registered with CAC to avoid doubts from AVO

Please remember to retain original evidences of sale of your property so that you can attach this as provenance on this large deposit you'd be making into your account...

For clarity purposes, we have sold the land since March.

my concern is that our only proof of ownership over the land is just a receipt + survey in our name.

wont Acrra demand that we should have done the C of O on the land before selling it?

No They won't! However, I trust that you must have put this property as part of your POF when u applied initially to CIC Sydney

So now you can put original copies of evidence of sale and a cover letter explaining that you have now sold the property and it is the large deposit you made into your account...

You can also include other properties or personal belongings like cars etc that you could sell before travelling if your application was granted in this cover letter
