Baptismal birth certificate will not be accepted so it's no point in sending it to correct what you have in your application package already. The sworn affidavit is much more valued than your church baptismal certificate by CIC.
But if you indeed wants to send another evidence for you not to loose out,i will advice you to get a national population commission birthcertificate attestation nd send it.Also,if you have your primary school leaving certificate which normally carry your birth date and the name of your parents ,it's also another option for birth certificate claim with CIC.
If you can get photocopies of both documents, you can send it to keep your mind fully at rest.
Nevertheless,I'm not saying the sworn affidavit you initially used will not fly because Canadian government don't toy with any legal document,it's respected a lot and depending on the genuine nature of the affidavit....I'm sure you should know some may be deemed to be not genuine. So i believe you're cool but if you need to send anything, send the documents i listed up in my explanation .
To assure you and put your mind at rest,i know buddies who used sworn affidavit that fly through the process
Cheers
Tnx Mr. Killins, I wish ppl that their application flew with use of sworn affidavit could enlighten us more on how theirs was prepared etc...Nevertheless, I mostly appreciate
