Good morning my fellow forumites, speaking of Birth certificate, I included the one I've been using since nursery school,now I'm hearing of one by NPC, please I hope I'm good with the one I submitted oh, :'(

If it is the old one that is always issues in by state governments of those days...it will definitely fly. But if its from church or somewhere else then it might be dicey.

You dont need NPC if your birth certificate is issued by government. Birth Certificate from NPC is required in lieu of affidavit.

I used the birth certificate that I have been using since it was issued after birth and no issues at all• I am awaiting my pick up mail from Accra now• The National Population Commission birth certificate applies more to our new generation children•

Sworn affidavit should not be an issue expecially if you included every needed details like the full names of your parents at birth and then the correct date of birth that matches with every other documentations• No issues•

I'm sure it will be fine so far it's not church birth certificate.From my experience as young as i am,I'm sure it will be issued by the olden days local government councils ......which I'm sure will fly well.
Can you confirm the type of birth certificate been referred to?

Your normal birth certificate is ok, if you don't have a regular one, the one from NPC will suffice.

Since it's not baptismal birth certificate ,and with your clarification/affirmation of the issuance from local government council authority ,you're in safe hands.Mine was also issued by an almost extinct local government council in decades past....and it's perfect.

What's the issue with Surulere LGA?

That's the Local government area where the birth certificate was issues
