"As 2014 draws to a close, and many people start formulating their New Year's resolutions and goals for 2015, we thought that it was a good time to take a look back at some of the country's most (and least) lucrative jobs to have.
To start in the middle, according to Statistics Canada, the average wage for Canadian employees is currently $928 per week – or just about $48,250 a year – based on a 40-hour workweek. Most of the jobs on our high paying list earn at least three times that much in 2014. (And the lowest paying occupations paid less than half the average.)
The highest paying jobs in Canada:
Specialist physicians at the high end of the pay scale they can earn over $375,000
Dentist – $287,303
Family physicians – $272,750
Lawyers at the top end of the pay scale make $272,550
Judges $176,800
Senior Managers of Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation, and Construction – $165,000
Senior managers in Finance and Communications can earn $160,000
Actuaries earn $155,000
Engineering managers – $137,000
Top paid Airline Pilots make $138,000
Of course most of the country's lowest paying jobs will simply pay the minimum wage of whatever region the job happens to be located in. Towards the low end of the scale that is roughly $9.95 an hour earning someone just over $20,000 – assuming they worked full time and were paid for 40 hours a week.
The lowest paying jobs in Canada:
Sewing machine operator – $19,760
Cashier – $20,700
Ironing, pressing and finishing occupations $20,700
Artisans $21,320
Bartender – $21,000
Harvesting labourer – $19,750
Service station attendant – $19,750
Food and beverage server – $22,000
Food counter attendant / kitchen help – $19,750
Babysitters, nannies, and parent's helpers – $19,750
Of course this doesn't take into account tipping. Bartenders and wait staff, particularly at higher end establishments can make very comfortable incomes with low hourly wages but the bulk of their income coming from tips. (See Confessions of the $100,000 waitress)
The Federal government's Working in Canada website breaks down the salaries for different occupation by province and even by city. It's a useful tool for seeing how your paycheque measures up – and preparing for your next salary negotiation."

I pray God to open the floodgate of good news in various stages we are in Jesus name.
NONE will be left out from this goodies and favor.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, this has happened before and a Canadian draft for the fee is sometimes placed in the returned application package. Most times, the draft comes later after the package has been returned.Mz. I'm an October 27th applicant, NOC 1111. I just found out I made a mistake while filling out my IMM 5046 form (Additional Family information form). I'm the principal applicant with my wife as an accompanying spouse. We both filled out the form but on both forms, my name comes on the applicant column, while her name is in the spouse column. I'm just realizing her name should be on the applicant column on her form. All other information were correctly filled.
My worry is this, will this mistake warrant outright rejection of my application?? if yes, how can i correct it before my application goes in for completeness check next month? undecided ? if i want to send an amended IMM5046 form, how do I go about it? please this is very urgent...help a brother please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear family, it appears the equation has changed.allzwell said:MPORTANT NEWS WHICH QUIETLY CIC DISPLAYED ON THEIR WEBSITE RECENTLY
=============================================================================================
So, finally CIC have confirmed on 24th of Nov, 2014 that current FSWP 2014 will end on 31st of December, 2014 and only those applications will be considered for FSWP 2104 which are received before 31st of December, 2014. Please see the following sentence that they have included recently on “Apply-Federal Skilled Workers” front page on their website:-
“All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines. Fees will be charged for each one.”
So, finally they have removed all the confusions. FSWP 2014 will not run till 30th of April, 2015 as it was being speculated. Now it will end on 31st Dec, 2014. So, all the applicants who have not applied should rush and send their applications as soon as possible.
Especially the end of the year holidays are starting on 19th Dec, 2014 till 2nd of Jan, 2015. So, we can say that practically the FSWP 2014 will end on 19th Dec, 2014 for receiving of applications.
