Please Seniors here I have a question, as this issue of POF with bulk payment transfer is getting me scared. If my Company pays me my Housing allowance which is in bulk and is equivalent to about 14,000 CAD, I hope there will be no issues with it at the AVO. I need to know as I have not been shoring up my salary account which I used as the statement instead I have been transfering monies to other account. I recently sold one of my properties and the bulk money was deposited in my salary account. will this also be an issue.

l need your advice please ! I put to bed recently, and we all know AVO must be informed with necessary documentation along with POF. I gave out the fund I had in my account to a friend who needed help and she just returned the money (bulk) . The question is this; Will AVO raise eye brow if I explained this to back up the bulk amount in my statement of account ? Alternatively, can I fix the fund, so as to avoid questionings ? Kindly confirm if it will be safe to use this (Fixed Deposit). I also want to confirm if AVO will still request for source of the Fixed Deposit too.

Fixed Deposit is a very viable choice. I advice that you fix the amount immediately. Other experienced seniors can lend their voice as well. It is well with you in Jesus name.

As promised to my chat group yesterday, I now confirm receipt of my PR visa. My darling Pipi picked up the package this morning from DHL.

Here's a rundown of my time line for those too lazy to go the 2014 Nigeria spreadsheet and check ;D

12/05/2014 - Application received at CIO
31/08/2014 - PE received
27/01/2015 - Medical/RPRF request
29/01/2015 - RPRF paid
30/01/2015 - Medicals done
09/03/2015 - Passport request
11/03/2015 - Passport sent
20/03/2015 - Visa issued
01/04/2015 - Passport collected

Raise CSE to Accra on your newbabay. You can also go ahead and fixed the money as other senior member on the forum have used FD with no issue
