Please Seniors here I have a question, as this issue of POF with bulk payment transfer is getting me scared. If my Company pays me my Housing allowance which is in bulk and is equivalent to about 14,000 CAD, I hope there will be no issues with it at the AVO. I need to know as I have not been shoring up my salary account which I used as the statement instead I have been transfering monies to other account. I recently sold one of my properties and the bulk money was deposited in my salary account. will this also be an issue.

Can you tell AVO that the money your company paid you for housing allowance is what you want to use for your resettlement in Canada? If you can, okay sir.

If not, please nix that idea, you will be shooting your self in both feet. You may decide to show evidence of the sale of your property, title to the property, deed of assignment and receipt of sale etc. That could work together with prior valuation report on the property if available. Put these with the bank account statement and send.
Another idea is to fix your money instead and use the fixed deposit certificate as your POF then do a lot of praying that you will not be asked for the source of the money. The simple thing would have been to just leave the bulk of your POF intact before now but let's look ahead.

01/04/2015 - Passport collected
